Well for some reason there is a real problem with having more than one suitable QBs on any one team. Just because one playes each and every week (unless you the Arizona Cardnals) I dont see anything wrong with having Beck and Henne on our Roster. All this means is theres competition in Training camp and through the season if either unproven Qb cant handle try another. If we missed on Beck give Henne a chance once we find out who we want decide what to do next. I dont think too many qbs is a problem.

we should use a two QB system like Arizona that would be interesting LOL

we cant have to many QBs till we find the right one

Exactly.....and if we are going to be a playoff time year in and year out we have to get the QB spot right.....we have sucked at QB since Matino retired, and I am sick of it. :boohoo:

Don't know how many people were arguing that drafting Henne meant we had too many QB's... For my part the anti-Henne had nothing to do with the man or having too many QB's... It was all about drafting a Qb in the 2nd. I just thought that we had more needs since we largely still don't know what we have in Beck or McCown for that matter. I felt that Henne was not soooo significantly better than the Qb's taken after him... Just my opinion.... So while I agree Henne was value at that pick... I don't think he was a steal... Woodson in the 6th? That was a steal.

You are right about that. All these morons who have been lining up under center for the past 3 years are horrible and they all make Jay Fiedler look like an NFL MVP.

I was happy with the Henne pick even though I have despised him for the last 4 years playing for Michigan but since Ohio State has been kicking the crap out of them it hasnt been to bad.

Henne is going to do one of two things in my opinion.

1. He is going to scare Beck and Beck is either going to elevate his game due to the competition or buckle under the pressure.

2. Henne will win the job outright.

Either senerio would be fine with me. I mean you have Jake Long protecting his blind side just as he has been doing the past 4 years. I see good things ahead from both of them.

I am also excited as hell about Parmele out of Toledo. I think he is a great 3rd option behind Rickey and Brown. Parmele is a Rickey Williams type runner big strong and fast.

As far as that other RB they took out of Utah State dont ask me what they were thinking there but who knows.

Peace love and Mark Duper.

A few years ago you people were saying we need to draft QB's more often because you were disgusted with our QB situations. Alot of people were even suggesting to draft a QB every year.

Then we draft a couple QB's in the 2nd round and now you're all up in arms saying we have too many QB's.

You people are just Unbelieveable.

I dont remember people arguing about to many QB's. It was more about where we picked Henne. The Fins were going to draft a QB anyway, whether it was the 2nd or 7th round.

No.. Plenty of people were saying there was no need to draft another QB. They were saying Beck is our QB case closed kinda talk.

In my opinion that's the wrong way to go about it.

I'm not sure where all the "we have too many QBs" is coming from. Most of what I've been seeing is a debate whether the FO has decided Beck can't cut it as a QB and that's why they drafted Henne. Particularly since this team has all kinds of other needs on both sides of the ball. I think if the FO really thought Beck could be "the man", they would have added another OL, DL, or WR with the 2b pick instead of Henne.

I think Miami should be drafting a QB every year. (Typically, I would expect to follow the Ron Wolf pattern by drafting one in rounds 4 - 6 and developing them, a la Matt Hasselbeck. The Redskins did it this year with Brennan.)
