Watching the games thus far and listening to the players and coaching staff in interviews, I'm wondering if there is too much "scheming" going on during the games? I feel that Saban is a very good coach, and is complemented with a good coaching staff (some say the best in the league), but is there just too much flying around south Florida that it confuses the players to the point where they are thinking rather than playing? Think about it, Hadnot has said he needs to make better calls at the line, Saban keeps emphasizing "putting players in the position to succeed", etc. Is there just too much of this going around to where the schemes are taking over the instincts of the football players? For example, the blitzing. It has been unspectacular over the past few games. Is this a fallout in scheme? Are the players not responding? What is it?

Like many here, I had high expectations coming into the season. I honestly felt that Miami was one of the better teams in the league. I still think, talent-wise, Miami is a top 12 team as far as starters are concerned. I know this team is better than this. So what gives?

Thoughts??

I understand your point, but the coaches must instill the scheme and not waver until they get it,its easy to say forget the scheme and let them fly around but i'am tellin you your asking for trouble with that philosophy, its like disiplining your child,if you waver they will do whatever they want,,,
They will get it soon, its complex but when it does kick in they will have more freedom and can fly around.
