Do you see Miami taking any of these guys? Read the article if you want:

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jc-tradebait100808&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

RB Larry Johnson
DE Dwayne White
WR TJ Houshmanzadeh
CB Patrick Surtain
CB Brian Kelly
WR Roy Williams
DT Cory Redding
TE Tony Gonzalez
WR Chad Johnson
DE Antwan Odom

The article says these guys, being on a crappy team, could be on the way out to better teams. You can already single out Larry Johnson, Surtain, Kelly, Williams, Gonzalez....but im curious about all the other guys. Id love to have Houshmanzadeh here, and possibly Odom and Redding.

I would take Surtain or Kelly also. They are an upgrade at corner for sure.

I don't think we'll be trading picks for players for several years.

It makes me happy to say it. :)

i like the way our team is playing.. and kinda wanna keep our draft picks now that we are winning

that doesnt necessarily mean we gotta give draft picks.

Surtain and Kelly are old, and they say Kelly is slowing down and isnt doing well in man to man coverage.

i think our receivers are doing well, but we could certainly use an upgrade with Houshmanzadeh, Johnson, or even Gonzalez.

I was sad to see Surtain go a couple years back but I don't think we should go after him. The only player I would really like to have is Roy Williams but I don't think we will give enough to get him.

I'm only interested in Roy Williams....He'd be a HUGE addition that would make this team instantly better.

I really like the idea of Roy Williams. I would give up our lower 2nd round pick (probably Washington's, but you never know). He is a big target, he is 26, and we have the cap room to sign him to a longer term deal. He would probably go for something similar to what Lee Evans just signed. I usually never condone trading draft picks, but the Free Agent market for WR's looks bleak next year, and you never know how long it will take for a draft pick to come around. Hw would make a great target. I think he would help the developement of both Ginn & Henne.

I don't think we NEED to get a WR or CB, but either one would help a lot.

If we make a move, I think we go for Roy Williams. As for CB, I think we put that off until the off-season and I'm pretty sure we're going to go hard after Nmandi Asomugha in free agency. Then use the first round draft pick for LB.

like i said before i doubt we r trading any picks for players also i really dont want none of those players..lets wait til the draft and free agent period to talk about new players

I'm all aboard full steam ahead for acquiring Roy Williams for a decent offer. Nothing insane. He would make us better over night like GoonBoss said and I don't see any WR of his caliber coming down the draft pipe this year. Roy is unhappy in Detroit and wants to be a teams #1 man. He can be that here. I'd like to see us make a play for Housh or maybe White, but only if it is for a steal of a deal.
