Top 10 Most Valuable Miami Dolphins 2009

Alot of people did believe that Carey was a bust. Lack of self motovation and other "reasons" were to blame for that. But he has turned out to be a good player for us. Ted Ginn as stated in the article, Im having to disagree with him. His special teams have been disapointing, hence why Bess is handling that duty now. Now if he gets to his Ohio State former self...well then thats a different story.

Yeah, I cant believe that anyone would feel like Ginn has lived up to his special teams potential.

Im wondering if its our special teams blocking thats not doing its job. The opponets are always getting down the field way to quickly and getting to close to our guys imo.

Or maybe its Ginn who needs to pull his head out of his arse. He had some trouble handling punts for sure.

To be honest, the problem was with the coaching staffs, not Carey. Maybe the coaches saw that Carey wasn't being the best Carey he could be and identified a problem, but his performance during his sporadic early years was on par or better than the guys around him yet the perception of him was flawed. He may have had some personality issues that he fixed up and allowed to make his play much better, but his play itself wasn't ever that bad.

My list...

10) Vernon Carey
9) Davone Bess
8) Channing Crowder
7) Will Allen
6) Jake Grove
5) Jason Fergunson
4) Jake Long
3) Joey Porter
2) Chad Pennington
1) Ronnie Brown

No Camarillo? He's as scrappy as Welker was and has become one of if not the most reliable hands guy.
