Top 10 pick

Rod Wright is worthy of a top 10 pick IMO. I see alot of posts about Aj Hawk and Greenway out of Iowa, but Ahmad Brooks out of UVA is a better LB IMO.

I think you're right, but I keep seeing him mentioned as an ILB. That isn't really where I think this team will be looking. I also think there's a good shot he'd be gone at #10. From what I can tell from analysis (I haven't seen either guy in video), Hawk is better than Greenway.

I think the Phins will pick inside the top 10, because the NFC is weak and even though the Phins maybe a better team than some NFC teams that have better records, that they will pick inside the top 10. I'm a diehard, but I try to be realistic, and right now I don't think that OLB is as big of a need as a Qb/DT/LT/CB.

At 10, I think only LT and CB of those four is really realistic. I get the idea there might not even be a CB worth that pick, so that would just leave LT. I have to agree that if that's a need at all next year, it's a great time to address it. I'm absolutely against drafting dictated by need, and I think Nick is in that same boat. I agree that LB isn't big as a need, but I think OLB is an area where a pick could potentially have a huge impact on the fortunes of the team.

As to the rest of what you wrote, I'd like to point out that of the 5 teams that were 6-10 last year, two of them picked outside the top 10. It's not like I'm being all that more optimistic about things than you are. I do differ from most here in that I think the offense is going to be okay but the defense is going to struggle, though.

I doubt he'd drop that far but D'Brickashaw Ferguson would be an awesome pick. He'll be a franchise LT. Very athletic, great passblocker with excellent feet, starter since his freshman season, never missed a game, honor student, the list goes on. He'll probably be a top 3 pick but if there is anyway to get him, I would. Realistically I see Saban drafting either qb or cb. I'm a big AJ supporter but if he doesn't step up soon, Saban isn't going to delay to replace him. If thats the case, Omar Jacobs looks like the real deal.

If you were the Miami dolphins and had the tenth pick in the draft what position would you pick and who would you pick?

Im going with either a QB or CB

CB-Devin hester

QB-Chris leak,Drew Tate,Matt leinhart,or Reggie McNeal

devin hester has a lot to learn until he's a legit CB, nevermind going in the top-10. speed kills, but i don't imagine he'll go before round 3 unless he has a good year of CB at miami this year, proving he can play man-to-man, and not just getting by as an athlete.

a QB, solid 10 year starter at Tackle or a difference maker on D (Brooks, Hawk, Greenway, Williams)

You call yourself fans, come on. I get my season tickets, I have my jersey's, car flags, shirts, hats, etc, ready to go for opening day september 12th. And I have the attitude that we will win the super bowl. Why?, because we go to the games to watch our team win, and play for something. We don't pay money to expect them to lose. Whether we are a Super Bowl team or not, we are playing for the Super Bowl and we better as well have a positive mind frame.

All this excitement and you will miss the game cuz its on Sept 11. :D ...lol

I just hope the redskins have the 1st pick.

That is a long ways away. First of all any of the college players you mentioned may fall on their face or even get hurt... Second we will pick BPA. Saban has already stated you draft BPA. If you do not that is how you end up "reaching" and drafting a player that is not worthy of that selection.

its been stated before, but Leinhart wont last the #2 pick. and IMO, is already the #1 pick in the 2006 draft.

you need a CB, FS, OT, OG, and QB. with free agency... who knows what position you will draft. (IMO, a rookie QBs need time to learn. FA QBs can come in and win, if you get a good one.)

If hester does well this year and comes out.... you cannot pass on a pure talent guy like that....
