Give Kitna a team and HE wuill Produce!! HE neeeds a cast

never said i didnt think he could produce, i was just shocked to see him as a top 5 qb who pulled his team into a comeback

You could make a strong case it was Jake Plummer's fault his team was behind in those games.

Jay Fiedler played on Dolphins teams with great defenses and a great running back. He's stats are misleading. For example look at Fiedler's record for wins and losses.

Well then by the same token, someone could say Dan Fouts W-L record is misleading since he played on crummy Chargers teams for the most part.

W-L records should never be attributed solely to the QB, however, comebacks are impossible without the QB. I've never heard of a defense completing a comeback by itself.

Sorry for the confussion. I give the Dolphin defenses and running back (Ricky Williams) the most credit for Fiedler's wins and losses record. IMO Fiedler managed the game like Kyle Orton did for the Bears this year. Orton's wins and losses record was inflated by playing on a team with a number 1 defense and a great running game.

A defense can make a comeback possible by keeping your team in the game by keeping it close.

The whole drive to end the game was awesome. The dive was the icing on the cake though. It was definitely a great play.

I guess I don't really agree with the premise of the article: that sample size is the most important factor.

For example, Brady - who has 5 more wins thans losses - is ranked below Plummer - who has 9 more losses than wins.

Brady, who is 13-8 in his 1st 21 comeback attempts, would have to go 6-20 in his next 26 attempts to "equal" the top ranked person.

yes, but typically it's the QBs whom engineer most of it since typically in a comeback you're throwing more often (depending on how far behind you are).

Dan Marino was the master at comebacks. It didnt matter how many points we were down. You always had a feeling that Dan would bring us back.

Manning and Brady are good at it too but never as good as Marino.
