top 15 players in 2006 draft (including underclassmen)

mcneil has been inconsistent, but brooks and williams have been pretty disapointing considering the preseason hype. if all 3 get back on track they're pretty much locks for the top 10, though

I would take Ngata off that list. Talented, but he takes way too many plays off. I would probably add Mercedes Lewis or Chad Greenway on there, they're at least borderline top 15.

i've yet to see ngata take any plays off. maybe when he's double and triple teamed, it may look like he's taking plays off, but this guy is a freak with a ridiculous motor on him

winston justice has been a beast this year. a complete beast

No hes been good but this year is loaded so high that he doesnt make the list imo. I doubt he'll declare hes prob gonna do what McNiel did and just stay in his senior season and build his stock. Whoever said Mcniel is having a bad year is wrong...he is actually doing pretty good and is projected as the 3rd or 4th tackle off the board and hes a guarenteed first round pick

He is having a bad year. In fact most of the projected 1st round OTs are. Ferguson has been hurt & Winston is still recovering. Other highly rated senior offensive line prospects who have failed to play their way into the first round up to this point include Auburn T Marcus McNeill, Oklahoma G Davin Joseph, Boston College T Jeremy Trueblood, Texas T Jonathan Scott, LSU T Andrew Whitworth, Georgia G Max Jean-Gilles, Ohio State C Nick Mangold, Minnesota C Greg Eslinger and Florida C Mike Degory.-Scouts Inc.

I agree with most. I think McNeil is having a better year than Winston and I think Rod Wright is better than Ngata. Also, I think that 4 is a little high for Brady Quinn but I haven't watched enough of him to make that accurate a call. Nice list bro.

Personally, I think Reggie Bush is the top player in this draft hands down. If he declares of course. He has Deion Sanders speed and Barry Sanders agility to go with excellent hands and excellence in the kicking game.

He is one of those guys that you just don't see very often. One of those players that can change the game every time he touches the ball.

He should have won the Heisman last year, and he will almost definitely win it this year.

He is the best player in this draft.

Why does everyone keep putting Eric Winston on their list. The guy has been terrible this year. Miami gave up 9 sacks to FSU, and i believe 7 came from his side of the field. Hardly a 1st rd pick, much less Top 15.

That spot is right on for Quinn I have watched and rewatched all of his games and he is worthy of top 5. The kid is amazing.

I'm glad you bumped this Ether, I just referred to this thread in another thread.

10: DB Michael Huff, Texas
