9. Olivier Vernon, Dolphins defensive end: The other Dolphins pass rusher opposite Cameron Wake has dialed up a lot of pressure over the last three years, even if he doesn't always finish the play with a sack. He's clearly an above average pass rush starter, which is going to make him a very rich man. Expectations are he'll leave Miami, who can only afford to pay so much on their defensive line.

16. Matt Forte, Bears running back: One of the league's most complete backs has not shown many signs of age yet. Perhaps he should be paired with another quality option, but there's no doubt he could upgrade many backfields.

18. Danny Trevathan, Broncos linebacker: Trevathan is a three-down linebacker entering his prime that can hold up in pass coverage. We're big fans of his skill set and he's just the type of above-average starter that gets paid like a superstar in free agency.

19. Janoris Jenkins, St. Louis Rams cornerback: He's steadily improved each season in the league and now is a playmaking starter.

Just missed: Derrick Johnson, Chris Ivory, Kelvin Beachum, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Haloti Ngata, Lamar Miller, Prince Amukamara, Anquan Boldin.

I think OV will be too expensive for the team to keep. Trevathan would be a nice addition along with Jenkins.

I'm hoping the team can keep Olivier Vernon. He's only 25 and should have a lot of good years ahead of him. That said, if Miami goes in another direction this draft could be a good one to find a replacement. I do think that would "force" Miami to go pass rusher in the first round.

Shaq Lawson quickly comes to mind as a possible replacement at #8. Noah Spence might also be in play and possibly Kevin Dodd, Lawson's teammate at Clemson.

I'm betting Vernon stays just because its a hole we can't afford to make. Miller I doubt comes back. We will probably either draft someone or bring in a vet that can share carries with our new #1 back Ajayi. I would like to see us grab a veteran corner like Jenkins or similar though. I am in agreement with ssomebodys post that said lb is what we need to draft early because of the FA CB market and the cb depth in the draft. Keep misi, Jenkins, vigil, grimes, Taylor, bobby Mccain, lipett, then draft a lb (myles jack?) in the 1st, a cb like Eli apple (whom I've always liked at Ohio state, think he has great cover skills) in the second, then guard, guard, guard, guard, and finally guard for the rest of the draft. Kinda joking about that many guards but not entirely joking.
