Top 5 2025 Super Bowl Pretenders

Fins are probably in the top 3 most talented teams in the AFC and top 5 in the NFL... I'll take that year in year out regardless of what media driven narrative label you want to put on them.
I agree with this unless you put heavy weight on the OL, which I do. Unless that is addressed, all the skill on offense will be held back. As long as teams can get consistent pressure with just 4 rushers, the team will struggle to be consistent.

Right. I hate sounding like a broken record, and I'm sure others are tired of hearing it, but IMO, while the team has a lot of talented weapons on offense, McDaniel and Grier don't really care about having a good, competent o-line.

The offense in 2022 started out great because having Tua get rid of the ball quickly made the line look almost decent. Then, two things happened; defenses started to figure out how to disrupt that offense, and Tua missed games. When Teddy and Skylar played, the line didn't look as good as it did with Tua, so that proves that Tua's quick release made them look better. Also, Armstead missed games, but after signing this injury-prone LT they failed to make sure that they had a competent replacement for when he got hurt.

For 2023, many fans want to blame the failure of the season on the o-line injuries. I say injuries are just a small part of the problem, but that the reluctance to actually build a good line by Grier and McDaniel is the real culprit. It's apparent that they never put the needed emphasis on fixing or even cared about fixing what is a yearly issue, as evidenced by their decision to have injury-prone players starting at both LT and LG, and no back-up with experience at the Center position. It's no wonder that defenses can drop players into coverage and disrupt Miami's offense when they can pressure the QB by only rushing four guys.
