Sorry it is supposed to be top 5, instead of %.
Though there is the possibility of outrage; my list below accurately depicts the best centers in order.

1. Shaq
2. Yao
3. Ilguaskas
4. Zo
5. Ben Wallace

Other names:
Chris Kaman
Amare Stoudamire- when healthy
Marcus Camby

ummm.....come on man. fact that you have Ben behind Zo and illdrewness(yes i realize thats way off) really just makes me shake my head at this thread.

Ilguaskas is not that good. put Kaman and Stoudimire above him.

And Tim Duncan isn't even on that list. He's a forward/center and has a very well rounded game. Also Dwight Howard is a forward/center as well.

I'd put Tim and Dwight on top of Alonzo, Ben, and Ilguaskus.

Yeh but they played the majority of their time at PF and most still consider them to be fowards. Battie and Mohammed played center on those teams.

Bosh is not a center...

It think the fact that he spent more than 70% of his minutes playing the position qualifies him as a center.

The center position is really weak in the league. Although Greg Oden probably would've been the top pick in this years draft and will be in next years if he does come out early.

1. Shaq
2. Yao
3. Bosh
4. Kaman
5. Marcus Camby

Whoever the Suns play at center I really consider them more of a 4, they're basically listed at center because somebody has to be. I'm not sure but I think Boris Diaw was their center this year and he's probably more of a 3.

Ben wallace is a terrible Center. Sure when he was on the pistons he was a defensive player but he is pathetic on offense. In the playoffs this year he stunk both ends of the floor. And now of course everyone will say your just mad because Big Ben left. i'm not the pistons will be better without him. And he dosent even deservie to be called Big Ben hes 6 foot 9

Let me just say this on behalf of Pistons fans everywhere: "This man does not represent us."

Thank you.

That doesn't mean he was a center. That means that the Raptors were often behind and had to play a small lineup.

My qualification to be a center? You must have guarded SHAQ in a game. I don't remember Bosh ever guarding SHAQ...ever.

1. shaq
2. yao
3. camby
4. wallace
5. chandler

To be honest, shaq could be a lot lower (especially if you count the regular season). I think chandler is very underrated, just wish he could play longer than 20 minutes without fouling out.

I guess that means Diaw and Marquis Daniels are centers then. Shaq has been guarded by half the forwards in the league. If he makes it through 40 minutes without having 4 different bodies on him hes either playing the Pistons or some blind refs.

The Pistons sure sucked when he wasnt on the court. The fact that they couldnt play d without him must mean something.
