probably the most dominant performance in the tanny era against a pretty good team, got us to 5-3 and looking like a legit playoff contender. for 1 week anyway.

#4 - 9/7/14 miami 33 new england 20

opening day 2014, knowshon moreno's coming out party for miami, unfortunately it only lasted 1 game. dominated the mighty pats in the 2nd half to the tune of 23-0. "this is the year we take over the division from new england!!" it was fun while it lasted.

#3 - 9/22/13 miami 27 atlanta 23

home opener after back to back road wins. great game, tannehill to sims for the game winner with a few seconds left. "3-0 start baby, this is our year!!!". or not.

#2 - 11-20-16 miami 14 los angeles rams 10

one of the worst dolphins games youll ever see for 55 minutes, one of the best dolphins games youll ever see for the last 5 minutes. that was our 5th win in a row and got us to 6-4 and looking like a legit playoff contender. we shall see.....

#1 - 12/15/13 miami 24 new england 20

great back and forth game with miami in the thick of the wild card race. pats score with 4 minutes left to take 20-17 lead, miami comes back and tannehill to thigpen gives us the lead 24-20 with just over a minute left, brady drives the pats down and is intercepted in the end zone last play of game. bedlam in miami! we're going to the playoffs!!! just gotta beat stinky buffalo or the jets!! uhhhhhhhhhhh nevermind

honorable mentions

10/28/12 miami 30 ny jets 9

destroying the jets in jersey the day of hurricane sandy.

10/31/13 miami 22 cincinnati 20

walk off wake safety on halloween night, 'nuff said

12/8/13 miami 34 pittsburgh 28

great game in the snow to keep our playoff hopes alive. barely survived a miracle steelers lateral last play of game.

11/13/16 miami 31 san diego 24

kikoooooooooooooooo

We had a tough game v seattle in his rookie year that stands out in my mind

looking back at 2013 that was a pretty entertaining year, alot of close games and we were in it until the last game. i think the best team of the tannehill era, but hopefully this year changes that.

Tannehill had 4 touchdowns and completed his first 18 passes in the first half of the Houston game last year. That game has to be on that list.

Rams game is too high, not even sure it belongs on the list tbh. Depnding how the season goes we'll refactor in the importance. Houston 2015 has to be on that list just from a statistical perspecive and ending the Houston hex.

There are quite a few from 2013 that could make the list. Steelers win is a glaring omission and of course the walk off safety vs. Cincy.

Isnt the safety listed?

Great list...all those stand out. The Wake-off safety is one of my favorites...I like that better than Sims' one handed game winner.

Though it's not the Tanny era, the one game I can't get out of my head is 2008 week 17 against the Jets to go to the playoffs. I remember practically every moment from that game, whether it was Merling (who??) rumbling to the end zone, Brandon London (who???) leaping for a key 3rd down reception, Yeremiah slamming Favre to the turf. That was a special season and the last time we had anything close to a special season.

How about the last 5 weeks? Those are his top wins. The others didn't get us anywhere.

Ozzy rules!!

I would honestly add our win against the Jets two weeks ago.

Third win in a row, crucial division game, back to back division game wins, and it was against the damn Jets, AND we all but delivered a knockout blow to their season. Immensely satisfying game from a Dolphins fan's perspective, and that was about the point where I began to think these might not be the same ol' Dolphins.

Was a pretty good football game, too.

We still aren't anywhere yet. 2013 we had two games to get 1 win for the playoffs . . . A lot of great wins that year.
