This quarterback class is so jumbled. Bortles at 50, yet he could be the first one taken

Mosley that high is pretty awful, imo. He's a good player, but he wouldn't have been a top-10 player in last year's draft, let alone this one.

Obviously, you still don't have Manziel in your top 50. I also think that's silly.

I see you no longer have Lewan pegged as a RT.

Too high on Martin, Pryor, Easley, Carr, Benjamin, and Niklas. Kareem Martin should pass up Ealy pretty easily by draft day. Too high on Benjamin.

Too low on Ward, Moncrief, Van Noy, and Barr.

Aside from that, there's some I agree with and some I don't.

Just an opinion. A list of talent in one "scouts" eyes. I am hoping either Ebron or Mosley is there at #19. I would be really happy with either player.
I think Zack martin will already be gone by #19.
In reality, anyone that think that at least 2 QB's won't be off the board in the top 10 is crazy.
I find the draft mocks more enjoyable.

CJ Mosley will be a pro bowl linebacker for a decade. Manziel is the next Ryan Leaf, but forget all the off the field stuff for a second. He sees ghosts in the pocket. He will never play a full 16 game season. For the same reason Tim Tebow's style of play didn't work in the NFL neither will Manziels. I will say he doesn't have mechanical issues and is a far better passer than Tebow. It's night and day. But improvisational play is too random to depend on. He will bust. I always thought Lewan could play either side. Barr can't set the edge, looks absolutely lost in coverage (no awareness or instincts), and has no pass rush repertoire. He does have a good motor and backside pursuit though. Easley would have been a top 10 pick if he were healthy. Can literally play any position on the dline on any defense besides a 3-4 nose tackle. Niklas has only been playing the position for a few years and tight end's get much better in the pros. I would love to see your reasoning why player X is too low/high.

this has nothing to do with draft position. just who will have the best career.

this isn't a mock draft. Obviously there will be more than one quarterback taken in the top 10. I never said this is where they will be selected....

Also Manziel had the luxury of playing behind THREE first round offensive tackles. Most likely three top 10 picks (Ogbuehi in 2015). He won't have the time to run around in the pocket in the NFL. It's almost sickening how many times he runs around like a chicken with his head cut off when he is under absolutely no pressure and leaves throws on the field. He has no sense of timing, and if you took away Mike Evans he wouldn't even be in the first round discussion. Watch how terrible he does his rookie year when his OL is equally matched with the DL and he doesn't have a receiver who comes up with EVERY jump ball he throws to him. He will throw 15+ interceptions every year, at least. This guy sucks. He'll be playing in Canada within 5 years.

Oh, my bad. I thought you said Lewan compared to a less athletic Jake Long that may be better suited to play the right side.

Mosley isn't a play maker. To be a Pro Bowl LB for 10 years, he's going to have to make plays. To this point in his career, he's just been solid. I'm fine with him in the late 1st, but top 10? Would love to see you justify that.

Martin lacks the feet and balance to play well at OT in the NFL, and I don't see him as a special OG worthy of a top 32 grade.

Pryor is a SS with average instincts in the passing game and unremarkable athleticism. He'd good, but he's closer to 25 than 15.

I like Easley, but we're talking about a guy who never notched 10 TFL in a season and who is coming off a season where he played 3 games.

Benjamin is big. Beyond that, he's not fast or quick. I don't see why you'd rate him ahead of guys like Moncrief, Robinson, and Matthews - all of whom are more athletic and more polished WR's (with plenty of size, no less).

As for the guys I think you're too low on:

Jimmie Ward is the best single-high safety in the draft (by a comfortable margin); he's the best safety in man coverage; and he's a solid tackler. To me, he has the best and rarest skill set of any DB in this draft.

Moncrief was hindered by a terrible QB. He has the highest upside of any WR in the draft. If he and Mike Evans switched teams before the 2013 season, I think there's a solid chance Moncrief would be neck-and-neck with Watkins as the top WR. That's obviously just a projection, but I wouldn't rank Moncrief any lower than the 4th best WR in the class.

Van Noy makes plays and has good size and instincts.

Barr had the same 10-yard split as Mack. In his two years at LB, he totaled double digit sacks and 20+ TFL in each of those seasons. He's also a punishing hitter.

Haha, almost sickening, huh? Wow, must be hard for you to watch. We'll see what happens, but this is all out of your neck.

Mosley makes plenty of plays. Check out LSU 2013. I have Martin rated higher than either of the guards last year. Benjamin is too dominant on 50/50 balls not to be a top 32 talent, but I'm not crazy about him. Van Noy looks out of place in space (Texas 2013) missed quite a few open field tackles. I really do like Moncrief though.
