Top Players available in next years draft....

That is great. I think we should focus on the bet player. Whether it be a LB of a Quarterback. Seau is getting old. We need to focus on what Miami is about the big D. We should not have dont that deal for Booker. That makes me mad.

HELLO????? Has anybody seen what our O-Line is like? Eric Winston is a no brainer.
If we can get an OT in round 1. Then find a way to get a high second round pick, maybe the QB from USC will be there still.

If we could somehow miraculously get 2 first round picks...I'd go after Winston and benson. If we're stuck with only 1 then I don't know...whoever the best player available when we draft (unless we draft first).

Runs a 4.77 40? Can anyone say Jonathan Ogden?

I'm sorry, but when you have a bunch of positions/team that needs to be brought back up...IMO...drafting an OL that high does absolutely nothing to help you immediately. It's easier to find an OL than turns out good than it is to find a franchise QB or RB.

oh, and from what I have read, a true Texas fan would say that Cedric Benson is good but not what people blow him up to be. And besides, he is good friends with Douche Bag, so I wouldn't even want his tainted personality on the team.

Yeah that is right. We do need a great o line. Good job. Feeley is not that bad. He just has no time to throw it.

Tony Boselli, Jonathan Ogden, Walter Jones, Orlando Pace, Richmond Webb....All High draft picks that contributed right away...in fact...were stars right away.

Draft WINSTON.

The best player available in next year's draft is Derrick Johnson.

The best player of imminent need is Eric Winston. Cedric Benson comes in a close 2nd.

I'm hoping we make some big FA deals, because we were so cheap the last two offseason, we ought to have the money by now.

The answer is the same as it was last year: Best Player Available (without ANY regard for need at positions). If this had been the play last year, we'd be staring at Stephen Jackson or Vince Wilfolk filling what have now become needs rather than staring at an inactive Vernon Carey.

I'll say draft QB unless the Dolphins are able to sign Hasselback or Kitna via FA.

I rather us tag a FA RB in the offseason to a multi year deal. This FA offseason is pretty deep at RB. We need to release Jerman, Whitley, TRY to trade Smith for a late round draft pick, give Carey another year, and sign a OT FA in the offseason.

Trade DOWN our high first round pick to accumulate picks and draft for depth. No player so far in college is standing out.
Winston- OL
Erasmus James- DT
Orton - QB
The only players I really would want. We can get a RB in FA'gency. So that can cross something off the wish list. We have a TON of backup RB's already so we dont need depth at RB.

It doesn't make sense when you have top 5 pick.
For Example if the best player available is a CB.
Best player available makes sense in the middle rounds.
