top ten athletes without a championship

Dan's name came right to my mind when I read the title...still my favorite player though!

"After the defeat, Marino assumed he would be back and have another crack at it. Unfortunately, the only crack Marino ever saw was that of his center." :rolleyes2:

Also think Sanders should have been higher on the list... He was unstoppable and one of the best RB's ever to play the position... I love watching highlight reels of him... I wish he had the chance to get a ring along with MArino obviously

A little trivia; Just curious if anyone knows what current NFL rushing record Barry holds?

hmm, well actually, he may very well hold those... the record I would have been referring to was ironically he holds the record of most yardage lost or most negative yardage by a runningback.

If you watch him run, alot of times he would run at least 10 yards behind the LOS, then juke his way back and past the defense, well those few times he was tackled ten yards behind the LOS really hurt his yardage numbers. Hence, he owns the record of most negative yards by an NFL runningback

Ironically, he was the only person to ever lead the league in lost yardage and the league in rushing in the same year.

I loved watching him play. I will forever hate the Lions because he was rumored willing to come out of retirement to play for the Dolphins, but the Lions would not release him.

 Thats funny.. Seriously.. I dont remember that rumor.. I remember him wanting to come out of retirement to play for another team and the Lions saying no

Not much of an article but there was truth to it.

I didnt mean "play for another team" in terms of not not Miami... I just new he wanted to come out of retirement and play... In terms of the article, I had no idea Miami was not one of the teams he didnt want to play for... At the time I dont know why he wouldnt want to play for Miami as Miami was consistently getting to the playoffs during that time and was obviously the far better team than Detriot...

Honestly, Junior Seau probably should have been on that list as well.
