It just doesn't sound right. I know that we are going to have a ton of Bills fans on here this week, so I wanted to see what everyone thinks. What will be the Bills new team name be when they move north of the border to Canada in the near future? I think that it should be something like the Toronto Polar Bears or Walruses. What do you guys think?

It's only a matter of time before it happens so Bills fans don't get too offended

Hey man, went to Western for 2 yrs. before moved on to Chapel Hill. Great place, hopefully I'll make it up to Cullowhee again someday.

As for the Bills, I hope they stay in Buffalo. A team in Canada would suck. Buffalo loves their Bills and that is where they should be.

I would think they would change the name. When the Oilers moved from Houston to Tennessee, they became the Titans. When the Browns moved to Baltimore, they became the Ravens. I like the Polar Bears name.

idk.. polar bears sounds real dumb to me.. also, there already is a bear franchise... id rather keep them in buffalo... but if you are going to move them.. a name change would definitely be in order..

'Soon it was commonplace for entire teams to change cities in search of greater profits. The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oilers moved to Tennessee where there is no oil. The Jazz moved to Salt Lake City where they don't allow music. The Raiders moved from Oakland to LA back to Oakland. No-one in LA seemed to notice.'

gotta love professional sports.

...ughhh most of the comment is from BASKETball. Still funny though

Polar Bears? yea.. the only polar bears in Southern Ontario are in the Zoo. Otherwise Polar Bears are about 1000 miles away in the arctic.

Besides.. if you compare to Toronto to the weather in Buffalo in Michigan, we practically live in paradise! Toronto is in a belt were most of all the bad winter weather misses us!

As for a name.. Since we have the CN Tower here i can imagine us having some sort of draw for lifetime season tickets and the name being something like the Toronto Towers!.. Which would suck.. but hey.. I'm a Phin fan for life anyway!

Honestly I would love to have the Bills move to Toronto as I would get to see the Fins play twice a year...! I'm going to the game on Sunday and to me that is all that counts!

Go Phins!

It's always hard for fans to see their team leave especially when there is no attendance/support problems. We lived the same here when the Quebec Nordiques went to Colorado even though the arena was filled night in night out. Winnipeg lost their team too for Phoenix which has absolutely no hockey tradition.

I went to Buffalo several years ago and the stadium and the tailgate were very cool, I don't wish them to lose their team but I would be very happy to see a team in Canada...

would love it if they moved to toronto...just another thing to make fun of bill fans for. round up your wagons and get out of the country!

They can call themselves the Toronto Eskimos. :D

That will surely offend all of those politically sensitive crazies.

I just hope they play as lousy in Canada on Sunday as they did this past Sunday in Buffalo. I can just picture Berman drinking himself into a stupor after that game. ;)

Being from Toronto, I dont want that scum of a team here...keep them in Buffalo....I dont mind going down the QEW to Buffalo to whip them once of a year...and man is that city a joke!!!
