PFT is reporting that Torry Holt and the Jags may be parting ways.He may have lost some speed but he is a very good route runner and has GREAT hands. He could be a good compliment for our recieving corp and an excellent tutor/mentor for T.Ginn & Pat Turner. Not to mention that we might be able to get him pretty cheap. He could be a VERY GOOD/QUIET pick-up.

I'm just tired of stop gaps, lets keep getting younger that way when they do gel and everything comes together were set for yrs. With torry holt were only set for probably 1 season

Not if Torry can show our young guys how proper route running is done. When JT was in his early years I same to remember an old Trace Armstrong departing some good techniques on him.It helped his game alot. We've got a lot of Raw young talent and they need a current player's direction.

Torry Holt is used up. Maybe not to the extent of Marvin Harrison, but he is a #2 in a lousy receiving corps.

No more stop gaps!

Damn have people here not learned that already? Look at the stop gaps this past year.

This team needs play makers, not another #2 at WR. Coaches are meant to teach/tutor/mentor players.

Draft Dez Bryant and if not go w/ the best DEF player on the board at 12. Spiller isn't what MIA needs right now. He's a luxury pick. MIA has TOO many holes to be drafting luxury picks i.e. Pat White.

Hartline is developing into a good number 2 WR,and Bess is among the best slot WRs in the game.As far as Ginn and Turner, til proven otherwise, their lost causes....we actually dont have raw talent at all....

also, its not just about expereince, but the fact that anyone can get better, but not everyone can,and Holt wont bring anything to Miami than we already have...

Whats wrong with stop gaps...stop gaps don't mean we don't take a young WR in the draft. Even if we get lucky and draft a good young WR prospect, it still take him 2-3 years to develop, so whats wrong with stop gap.
