This will be a brutal stretch for us and could actually define the season, 5/6 games on the road will be tough and none of these games will be cake!

ha yea true were did work on the road, but still this stretch will be brutal, I dont remember a 6 game stretch like this recently!

I think we can take at least 3 of those games. Denver and Cleveland we should win, and the Giants seem to have taken a step back this year. We always play the Jets tough, so that's a possibility, and I think the Chargers or KC could falter this year. That's really not a horrible stretch, considering that we do better on the road than at home.

Those 6 games come right after New England and Houston (likely the best Houston team to ever take the field). If I'm going to Vegas, I'm betting the under on 7.5.

Yeah that will be tough. My hope of course would be to win them all but 4-2 would be the least best scenario during that stretch. 3-3 would be mediocre and anything worse would probably guarantee us a Top 10 draft pick.

Are people really expecting the Browns to be good? Like honestly? I cannot see it for the life of me, how they even stand a chance this year.

And this is the first I've heard of Broncs being tough, most people have this as one of our few, 'easy' W's.

But SD, KC and the Yets will be tough games, all on the road. Those 3 games with define our season, to me. And TBH I hadnt included the NYG as anything special, basically mediocre, but the thrashing they just gave da bears was hard not to see lol. So might as well throw them into the hard road game category too.

So I say we have 2 auto-locked up, and we have a legit shot at any of the others, none are world beaters or SB contenders IMO.

After week 8 we are 6-2, or the very least 5-3.

Um.. did you see last year's game against the Browns? Probably one of the worst Dolphins game I've ever watched.

I don't know if the Browns will be playoff good but I expect they will be better than last year and around a .500 team.

Combine that with our first two games being against NE and Houston and thats a brutal 8 game stretch. These games are going to tell the story early. If we get out of the gate 0-2, Cleveland will be a must win. Hell, considering the games after Cleveland, it might be a must win even if we go 1-1 in the first two. Because if we lose to Cleveland even if we have beaten Houston, 1-2 and staring down road trips to SD and NY could be a recipe for disaster. A really rough start could spiral into a tank job with Sparano being a lame duck and a guy at QB who the team would have no faith in at that point.

I absolutely refuse to believe that we will stay defeated by the Texans. Will.Not.Buy it. They have been the worst kind of choke artist up until now, and it pisses me off to no end how they ALWAYS seem to get our number. This may be blind homerism at its best, and im fine with that, but I'm not counting them as anything but a W this year baby!

Wow, I had them pegged at around 4-5 wins this year. I must be thinking with the Delhomme brain lol

And we now have the guy that gashed us. He's on our side. And that game has Henning written all over it. We were and still are better than the Cleveland Browns sir.

Yea, Cleveland is a real lock. :rolleyes2: Get real. They beat us at home last season just a few regular season games ago. That team will be improved as well.

And dont sleep on Denver. I think John Fox will have that defense greatly improved. Last season, their problem was not offense so much as it was having the worst D in the league. With Dumerville coming back from injury and adding Von Miller, John Fox will not let that defense be near the bottom this time around.

And when you consider the possibility of us being a 1 win team going into that Denver game, dont be so certain that wont be almost a pick em. If we are a one win team at that point, it completely changes the dynamic of the game. It could already be a sinking ship at that point.

Lots of things can happen with this season. We need to come out and beat NE in week one to set the tone.
