It is well documented that in the first four games of this season the Dolphins have played sub-par football. Call it growing pains, players getting used to each other, new coaches, whatever. We have certainly played down to our competition, with the combined records of our opponents a paltry 4-11. So in an effort to be optimistic about our next four games, here is hoping we play up to our competition. The combined records of the next four opponents is 10-6 so we have our work cut out for us for sure but I continue to believe that things will turn around.

It all starts tomorrow and we do have a winning all-time record versus the Pats and have won some big games against them recently, one on a Monday night a few years ago in our hideous orange uni's.

So GO 'PHINS, BEAT THE PATRIOTS!!!

@New England
@N.Y. Jets
Green Bay
Bye
@Chicago

that's rough...Fins need to at least split the next 4 to have any kind of chance for the playoffs

The only game that looks winnable at this point is Green Bay, and that's providing Favre doesn't get hot and toast the secondary. The Fins might stick close to the Jets, and they could possibly win that one, but I can't see anything except blow-outs at the Razer and Soldier Field.

Heck, I'll be happy if the Bills beat the point spread when they play the Bears tomorrow at SF -- and the spread's 11 the last I looked!

Yeah, to split the next four would be a good thing at this point.

Unfortunately, I do not think we will have a chance at the wild card. With Baltimore and Cincinnati at North, Denver and SD in the West - it will be tough to have a better record than them. It is more likely that we will have to win the division to have a chance. And in order to win the division we almost certainly have to beat the Pats twice.

In my opinion, tomorrow is the most important game of the year. I truly hope that the offense is close to jelling, that if WR run the right pattern, the OL and TE/RB block properly and we get a few long completions than we might have a chance.

I am going to the game with low expectations - but hope for a win.

Let's hope we are 4-3 going up against the Da Bears!! Let's go Dolphins!!

GB is our only potential win in this stretch, no way Favre light anything up but a stogie, sadly he is too old and can't play to his high level anymore. Also by then our secondary will have it together, I truly believe that. Now, our OL could be another story . . .

Everyone keeps talking about the Monday Night game two years ago, but it's not the same Dolphins team.

Tough stretch. If I had to call it now then I would say that the only possible win is Green Bay... but I have my doubts. Knowing the luck.. Brett Favre lights up the Dolphins D.

favre might get hot if he sees his wife, John Madden, in the stands.

they either come together and start to win, need at least three games to go to 4-4, or they do what they have been doing for about 10 years and that is lose when their backs are against the wall, if they do then a major change in personel happens especially on defense ala thomas and taylor,
