Trade Beck & JT to Baltimore for their 1st round pick and draft M Ryan

There you have it trade Beck to Baltimore along with Jason Taylor for their #1 pick number 8 in the draft and possibly grab Matt Ryan. Cameron and Mueller based last years draft on Beck and wanted to trade up for Beck in the 1st round and could not get it done so let the guy who drafted him Cammeron get him back. If Beck is not the answer for Bill Parcells and JT is no longer wanted except for a #1 pick in Maimi package them together and go draft the QB that Parcells and Ireland wants. Not saying that Baltimore will bite or M Ryann will be there but it could be an option.

great idea will never happen. Beck does not have that much value right now and we dont even know if Ryan falls that far.

I'll stick with Beck ... and if we can pull off Henne with our 3d or 4th picks (very very unlikely)

Then get another 2d round pick for JT ... and if we are lucky a 5/6th to go with it ...

What makes you think Ryan is the QB that Parcells/Ireland wants? Give Beck a chance with some talent around him. People need to come to terms with the fact Matt Ryan being a Dolphin isnt going to happen.

I think the QB talk is smoke to be honest with you. Do u really want to draft a QB so high . . . what will fans think about Beck if it happens. I think Parcells will draft a QB, but more of a diamond in the rough type on Day 2.

NO NO NO to Ryan.. Jeeze.. did you drink the kool aid? I'll take Flacco or Henne in the 2nd rd thank you.

All joking aside, actually I WOULD take Ryan - if our trades take us into the high teens-high 20s AND he's still available there (where he belongs) - more than enough potential upside at that level to offset the poor decision-making concerns.

It's just funny how some love-smitten fans are ready to hand over the keys to the empire to a 1 year wonder who padded his stats against a number of weak teams, yet at the same time indict our own equally accomplished college QB on the basis of a handful of appearances, very little practice, playing for one of the worst teams in recent history and having his best runners and receivers either playing in other cities or on the shelf.

I'd like to see Beck become our Brees but we really do need to draft another QB so long as we don't ridiculously overpay like we would have with Ryan, and can also be able to address some more pressing needs. Whether it's in the sports or business world, competition never hurts - it brings the best out in everyone so let the best man win.

Finally a coherant thought!

I wouldn't want to draft a QB until at least the 5th Rd. Give Beck a chance. Maybe a QB gets cut during the June cuts. No rookie would be as good as Beck and/or McCown.

if Ryan falls that low, and thats a BIG IF, i'm more than sure the fins would take him if they can manage a trade to get back into the first round...but 2 major things need to happen 1. Ryan has to fall that low and 2. the fins need to find a trading partner to get back into the 1st round.

Baltimore would never make that trade and Beck isnt going anywhere.. Especially for Matt Ryan Leaf. I dont see why it is so hard for people to live with that fact that it is a 100% garuanteed fact that we WILL NOT draft Matt Ryan. And even moreso now that we have Jake. I dont get it.

Not to mention Matt Ryan is not a franchise QB

BINGO!!

Take away that comeback win BC had that got Ryan's name in the news and he doesn't project in the first round.
