I'm a huge Wake fan, I was at his first CFL game and watched him dominate the CFL for two years, we all knew he'd be NFL bound and I was ecstatic when my Dolphins signed him. I have two fins jerseys with his name. He's a leader and no one works as hard as him. I was hoping he'd retire a Dolphin but it's an absolute shame he hasn't seen the playoffs, he could change a game in one play much like the browns sack fumble where he actually wasn't offside. I really though 2012 we would get in there and give him.his chance but (Tannehill, Ryan).Trade him to a contender, get some draft picks for the future and honour him when he does retire like Jason Taylor all over again. I'm sure new England would take him... Sigh...

At his age and only really being situational now, he doesn't hold much value. Plus, selfishly, I want him to retire a Dolphin.

I'd trade him just for his own sake. He deserves to experience the playoffs at least once in his career. The Dolphins have done him a great disservice.

Absolutely. Give the man a chance to go somewhere and win, this team is trash and needs to stock up on picks. Trade anyone that isn't a rookie or named Reshad Jones.

The Falcons desperately need a pass rusher. I'd consider it a favor to him to get him off of this awful team.

For what? A bag of potato chips.
I'm huge Wake fan, but a 34 year old coming off an Achilles injury less than a year ago ?

Whatever they offer, frankly. What good does it do for him to be here? I mean, I guess its up to him, maybe he doesn't want to relocate or whatever, but if he desires a shot at the playoffs then the team should do what they can to let him go to greener pastures and play out what's left of his career on a team that has a shot. He's given a lot to the Dolphins, been a great player, he deserves that much. Just don't trade him in the division.

He made the choice to stay here. He could have forced his way out on the off-season by refusing to renegotiate his deal. He knew this team was not playoff caliber.

Too late...too old...too many injuries...won't get value....use him up!

Gase needs time to build HIS team. Too many leftovers.

It's Cam decision, he's earned the right, just not in the division. I don't anything above a 3rd maybe.

I agree.

What we get for him is of much less importance than doing the right thing for a good player and a fan-favorite.

That gives people a nice warm fuzzy inside and all but Ross needs to do what's best for the franchise, not just one player. Absolute futility during his tenure as owner. I said it last year, trade EVERYONE that could be of value on this team, stockpile the picks and go into full rebuild mode....with someone other than Tannenbaum in charge of course and therein lies the issue of a rebuild...Tannenbaum.
