Trade could happen with Pittsburg

If Ricky gets traded I believe it'll be for draft picks, player for player deals are rare. Maddox is turnover prone, and I think he's not a very good player, not an upgrade over Gus, but probably over the backups on the team.
 
Ricky is going nowhere!! And we should all be grateful for that cos we need all the offensive weapons we can get this season regarding our QB situation. It will help our limited resources at QB this season.
 
Ricky's value as a happy camper in Nick Saban's system with a 4 game suspension, teammates who know him, and little money invested: B+

Ricky's value as a traded RB with a history of depression moving to a new city with a coach he hasn't met/approved yet, desiring a new contract and with teammates who have only read about him in the papers: D

Thats my point. Trading him now is nonsense. Get over the fact that we gave up two picks for him, those are long gone. If the Dolphins were to trade him, doing it now when his value is low is plain stupid. Let him play a full season to see what he can do and then they may entertain those options next year. Emphasize on may. You don't just make a trade just to make it. You have to become better after the trade is made.

I dont understand why all the trade Ricky threads continue to pop up. I swear you guys play way too many video games.:shakeno:
 
Give a top 5 player at his position for a guy another team would love to be rid of. Maddux is useless to Pitt. RW will return to form, and why would we want to boost an AFC team at the one position that is a question for their rise to the top.

Why don't we see if we can give them CC and Boston for Bettis or H. Miller? Sounds just about as logical.
 
No way would Saban ever make that trade...besides, how long would Maddox hold up behind our Oline?

We haven't had a decent running back in how many years before Ricky and now that we drafted someone who hasn't even play one game or even proven himself yet and your ready to ship out one of our superstars?!!! No offence(no pun intended)lol... but that sounds pretty desperate to me and I'm a fan... I can imagine how it sounds to all the fin haters out there. I think everyone needs to stop pushing the panic button so soon...And what if Brown gets hurt or Ricky? I say you keep both...Ricky will be playing for cheap for a couple of years...I LOVE the thought of having two great backs just think of the plays we could run.We all have to remember this is not wanny's team this is Saban's team. :D

Why in the heck would Miami want to make that trade? Maddox was a one year wonder & was not that good that one year.

How could someone call themselves a dolphin fan when making silly threads like this. I usually don't get on her to talk trash or bash someone but come on...WTF is wrong with you people wanting to trade Ricky, a top 5 back for a QB that is almost 40!!!! Do you want to win???? As long as Ricky is making some chump change and not costing to much money...leave him alone!!!! As for the trade Ricky ideas...the only way Ricky gets traded is for value!!!!! Saban won't let a top 5 back go for peanuts. With Ricky and Ronnie in the backfield...we don't need a top 10 QB. Gus, AJ, Sage...which ever one it is can turn around and hand the ball off. Maybe on 1st down throw deep or catch one of the TE on a flat route...something to minimize the mistakes and take pressure off the QB. The steelers did it last year, the Ravens did it, Tampa Bay did it....the list goes on. Not saying that we'll run it every down but with the options we have it's up to the coaches (who I have complete trust in) to make the gameplan fit with the players that they have. So all of this trade a top 5 RB for a second string QB is just plain silly!!!!
