I don't now if anyone else has brought it up yet, but what happens if Brady Quinn's reps tell the Detroit Lions that Quinn refuses to play for the Lions? (Like Eli Manning did when the Chargers drafted him # 1).

Should the Phins contact Matt Millen and offer our 1st pick and something else to move up to the #1 spot? If yes, what do you think the Lions would want besides our 1st? Would it be worth giving up our 2nd as well? Or maybe we could unload a receiver on Millen?....he seems to love receivers?

Your thoughts?

I'll give him Chris Chambers and our 1st round pick for Brady Quinn. If they want any of our quarterback's, they can pick any.

I got a feeling Detroit is targeting Drew Stanton in the 2nd round though, him being the hometown guy from Michigan State.

Nah, pass on trading up. Price is to high.

We can do just fine from #8 to #16 spot. in round 1. No issues with the talent options that will be there for us. OL, WR, OLB, DT, DB and QB all match up during the rounds for us to fill our needs and not bankrupt the house to do it.

6 picks over 7 rounds....6 big need areas. Stay put and work the magic. Saban has done well in the draft, no need to gamble now.

Our 1st, 2nd picks and Daunte sounds pleasing to me. They can draft Stanton or whatever and get a QB who's used to playing in the NFC North while we finally land a prospective franchise QB. It's not going to happen though but judging Millen's track record, it's not too farfetched.

agreee

you guys realize that you cant keeping shipping your draft picks away....you need more than just 1 player

BRADY QUINN IS A LOCK FOR THE LIONS WITH THE 1ST PICK.. no questions asked... Jon Kitna is 35 years old i believe, plus the guys a turnover machine. Lions need a QB for the future

well the raiders need a qb for the future, but they should get Calvin Johnson and probably go QB in 08 as there arent much in the QB dept. this year (unless Brohm declares)

no way we trade up for quinn, hes not as good as everybody thinks. ND is the most overrated team this year, they dont deserve to play in a BCS bowl after the way they were embarssed at home against michigan, and then gettin blown out against USC. look at quinns stats his 1st 2 yrs w/o weis

then weis came along an made quinn look good
if we draft a qb i vote for leak, as a freshmen and soph he was callin his own plays and his stats would look better except meyer has him runnin an offense hes not built for. leak is perfect for a pro style offense and we can pick him up in the 2nd or 3rd round. if we draft a qb draft leak
