I wouldn't pass on Mayfield, Smith, Edmunds, or James. If one of those guys are on the board we better stay put and pull the trigger.

As awesome as it would be to have more picks.... This team lacks top shelf talent and we desperately need to bring in a guy with franchise altering potential. At #11 we can get that.

If our front office had a good track record, I would concede to staying put and picking the best player at 11. However, I don't trust this front office. The more ammunition we have the better our chances to land some productive players and possibly an elite player.

We're at a great spot with the 11th pick. Several good players at positions of need are likely to fall to us. If we get overwhelmed with a trade-down offer, we do it and still have good chance of getting one of those players a few spots lower. Otherwise, we take BPA at a position of need with the 11th pick.
