Trade for Bobby Carpenter fans...

The Cowboys have reportedly been shopping ILB Bobby Carpenter.
The Cowboys balked at including Carpenter in last year's pre-draft trade with the Dolphins, but he has just seven tackles over the past two seasons. Kevin Burnett's departure leaves Carpenter as the top backup in Dallas for now.

With as many trades as we make with the cowboys, if we wanted him he would already be here. Plus if we thought he was an upgrade over Crowder we wouldn't have give him a new deal--not going to happen.

The Cowboys need picks this year because they gave the Lions so much in the Roy Williams deal. Carpenter is worth more than a 7th, not as high as a 4th (probably). I would trade Beck straight up or maybe if we got a 6th for Satele, trade that for him.

The Cowboys need picks this year because they gave the Lions so much in the Roy Williams deal.

Dallas has 11 picks this year, more then a majority of the teams drafting...Every team "needs" picks if your trying to get rid of a player who doesn't have any worth on your team, same with every team.

He will get released, Dallas has been wanting to trade this guy since last year. Once he gets released I expect Miami to pick him up.

Talk about a bad sign for a player. When the departure of your top backup ILB has you scared because it bumps this guy up to being the top backup ILB...that's a bad sign. That's a sign that maybe this guy doesn't belong in a football uniform.
