What would you think of a trade to Philly for a 2nd and a cond pick or a player and a 2nd!

If Boston and Thompson pan out. It would be ok.

it's called depth. Maybe we should keep some for once. The odds that Booker, Chambers and Boston stay healthy all year? Very slim. Philly is the last team in the league, even moreso than New England, that overpays for anyone. They only lost TOdd Pinkston, a guy who couldn't even make our roster.

Thompson hasn't shown he can be consistent yet, and Boston has a history of injuries. I wouldn't trade Booker unless we got a GREAT deal for him. Like, a first round pick, or a pro-bowl caliber player at another position.

Na, I want Booker to stay. He had a rocky season last year because of the sudden trade and the state of our coaching staff. He should be a bigger factor for us this season and if you get rid of him, we become very thin at WR.

What makes you think that Boston will make through the whole season without injury? It would be a huge mistake to trade Booker in my opinion. The man goes out and gives it his all, and doesn't complain for one moment!

You should meet DBoston80....you guys would get along great.

He did not look good last year, and from what I am reading he is dropping easy balls and catching some tough ones.

If we can get a 1st or multiple pick and or players, it would be worth it IMO. I would not want to trade him for a low 2nd and that be it.

He caught 50 balls as the #2 receiver in a hamstrung offense. Please lookup the last time our #2 receiver caught 50 balls. Saban also doesn't play favorites. He plays guys where they belong and so far Booker has belonged as the #2.

For a guy you don't believe in how can you believe we'd get a first/2nd for him?

Depth. I don't want to give anybody on this team up unless we are overstocked or if it is and unbelievable, Spielmanesque offer

lol..how did I know you were gonna get flamed for having an opinion Booker...better watch it Marty saved half of these guys' from a burning building this offseason....the love him like crazy!!

Yup the same building you set fire to wasn't it? :rofl3:

at this point we'd be lucky to get a 3rd or above for any WR except CC, and even Chris hasn't impressed around the league as much as most of us would like to think .......

nah, in all honesty I 'd trade Boston before I'd trade Booker (***DBoston80...read this whole post before getting upset as this has absolutely nothing to due with your posts in the other thread***.) based on injury history and likelyhood of it happening in the future and I really don't want to trade him right now either.

Currently it's the best depth at WR we've had since Ingram and those guys we're roaming the field (what was that, the mid to late 90s or was it early 90s? yeesh).

All that said....if they offered holdout Simon for either guy ....I'd do it in a heartbeat(provided he agreed to a show up before hand) but we all know that's not going to happen.

so again...I don't want to trade Booker right now unless it's for Simon. Not very likely.
