Trade for Curry

I lived in the Seattle area for years...and I still have a lot of friends there and brother-in-law who are Seachicken fans...they all tell me this guy is a bust...

I have also watched him quite a bit because I wanted to see what the hype was when he was coming out...I don't see it. He would just be more crap...

Yes, everyone thought he would be what Von Miller is proving to be, he obviously isn't that guy. That doesn't mean that on a new team in a different defensive schem he couldn't develop into a quality starter and at least be quality depth.

I would prefer him over Ike Francis,Spitler,Marvin whatshisname,Jason Trusnik or even Jason Taylor. He is way better and still has far more upside than any of these guys.

If Curry can't make at the University of Seattle why bring him to the University of Miami? LOL

If Seattle wanted a 4th I'd be in favor of it.

I just want the Pats to get him so I can refer to the Mayo-Curry tandem as "Hell's Kitchen."

Curry was never really supposed to be what Von Miller is... Curry has no ability to rush the passer, Von Miller is one of the best pass rusher I've seen come out of college since Derrick Thomas.

He was taken too high because the value of his position just isn't one that impacts games. Although I'm not surprised K.J. Wright is beating him out, I touted that kid for 2 straight years in the draft forum.

He's not a bust, he's a decent player, it's just not possible for him to live up to his draft slot. A.J. Hawk hasn't lived up to his draft slot either, simply because the position just cant impact games to warrant a top 5 pick.

Curry is basically Channing Crowder as an NFL linebacker. Steady, boring, never makes an impact play, never forces a fumble, gets a turnover, etc... just kinda hangs around and accumulates tackles on a stat sheet.

I'd trade Merling for him in a heartbeat.

So the deadlined is week 6?

Originally I thought it had already past but then I realized that was old info.

Is Seattle running a 3-4?

Seriously, package Wake/Starks and 2 #1's to trade up for Luck next year . . . grab Aaron Curry from Seattle and Jerry Hughes from Indy with 3rd and 4th rounders and be done with it.

Jerry Hughes and Aaron Curry? Is your plan to not improve? Other than being names that were taken in the first round of the last few drafts these two have done nothing. Curry has been benched on an awful Seattle team and Hughes is inactive on sundays. 3RD and 4th rounders for these 2? No freakin way

I asked if those defenses ran a 3-4 for a reason. Both talented guys who probably could excel in the 3-4. Espcially Jerry Hughes on the weakside. Dude is a nasty pass rusher when he is on. Curry can play OLB or ILB in the 3-4 . . . very versatile.

Highly doubt you find 2 better players in the next draft for the price and both guys are still young.
