Ok, here is a thought. If we target WR in the first round, I believe the top two choices (Jackson and Holmes) will be gone to Philly and Denver ahead of us. What about if we traded with the Colts at 30? They really want a RB and at 16 could have their choice of all but Bush. We would get in return their second and fourth round choices. At 30, we could still more than likely get Moss. A speed guy to strech the field for us would be huge!! If Moss is gone, take the best OL or CB. Win-Win

Thoughts?

I like the trade idea, I dont like the idea of taking Moss until atleast the second round. At pick 30 you've just to take best available player. Hell, who knows, Manny might even be around.

Unless they really want D. Williams, I don't see them trading up with us. They would have to give up their 2nd and 3rd rounders in conjunction with swapping places.

i think a pretty good idea if thats somethin the team is lookin for and if they really think it will go through/want a speed receiver like moss
personally ide look at linebacker if no trade and if a trade receiver and mcintosh from miami in the late second if he is still available...we got crowder in what the 3rd and he produced for us...i see great potential in a guy like mcintosh or simms if he is available at 16 if we wouldnt trade
overall good idea

The Colts would have to give us their 2nd and 3rd round pick to move up that far. I don't think their 2nd and 4th would do.

The rumor is that NE or Indy wants Williams...teh thread starter has a pretty decent trade idea. If Williams is available at 16...I can see a smart GM and Head coach trying to sell Indy into a trade of picks.

I cringe at the thought of moving from 16 to 30. It would have to be one sweet deal to persuade me.

Ideally, we could trade down a few times in the first round, maybe a trade about 5 spots lower, then a second trade another 5 spots lower.

If we blow our load too early and move to 30, we lose all kinds of bargaining power.

williams would still be around at 30 imo...the pats have dillon so y do they need another rb...the colts or the other hand have no1..

Great trade, drop 15 spots, get an extra 2nd and 4th, pay alot less for your 1st round pick, sounds great. Any body that think Colts will give up their first, second, and third to move 15 spots is crazy. I would take a 1, 2, and 5 to get back that far, a 1, 2, and 4 would be great. Don't get hooked on the trade value chart, get the trade done then pick well and pay less.
