Saban is building this team towards the future correct. Well I have a question for everyone. If in next years draft we have a top 10 pick or maybe even just outside of the top 10. Would you be willing to trade Jason and our first to say the texans for a shot at Matt Leinart. I'm not sure that the Texans would take that trade they would probably want more than that. Butr basing this decision solely on rebuilding towards the future would you do this. I am not trying to say I want JT traded, because personally I would like to see JT end his carreer here, but I am trying to look at the business aspect of it. I would do the trade just so that we could finally get our QB of the future.

Whatever it takes to bring Glory back.

If you want Reggie McNeal so badly, why would you trade JT to get Leinart?

HOnestly I have lost favor in Reggie but I'm not going to jump on a different bandwagon everyother week. I think if we don't get Leinart there will be a decent QB in the 2nd or 3rd round that we could get, but there is no doubting Leinart is the best.

No. Bad idea. Why don't we sell our souls to Satan next?

if we trade jt for a qb say we get the qb then it hurts are defence jt is one of are best when hes not playin it messes up are whole pass rush. i think it would be a bad call to trade him untill we have someone better to out there.

jason taylor is the face of the dolphins ,how can you people (or maybe jets fans )are saying that want to trade j.t

Why do you say that. We are building this team towards the future. I understand that Jt is an amazing athlete but we need to look towards the future here.

It would take more than a first rounder and J.T. to move up to #1 in the draft.

Trading players is very hard with the salary cap.

To move to #1 it will take our first and third's in '06 and our first in '07....at least. Teams rebuilding for the future (Texans as an example) want draft picks not 31 year old defensive ends.

Saban and Mueller have a decision to make.

How much of the future do they want to surrender for a chance at Leinart. We have cap room to fill holes for a year or two to make up for the lack of young talent we'd have coming in because of the picks traded for Leinart.

I've drank the Kool-Aid...give up the farm, move to #1 and get Leinart.

i would never trade taylor or zach for any player on the nfl

I agree. Thomas and Taylor need to stay with Miami until they retire. Both players have at least 3 more GOOD years of football left. After that, if they stay healthy, they can play situational roles for Miami. Seau will be gone next year. Miami should replace him with a young LB from the draft (similar to what we got in Crowder this year).

IMHO... JT is worth alot more than that, maybe one or two 1st rounders alone. I would be upset if we traded him in the first place, but for two 1st round picks... I might be willing to live without one of the best pass rushers in the league, and that's a big... maybe <----- Look how big that thing is!
