Trade Jordan..... why?

JT had 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles as a starter his rookie year, and 9 sacks and 3 forced fumbles his second year. That doesn't sound like "getting ran over" ot me, and I remember he was considered an instant impact player. Jordan had 2 sacks and no FF last year. Also, JT was a third round pick and DJ was the #3 pick in the first round, so the expectations are much higher.

But he was picked by Ireland, which makes the expectations lower.

Getting ran over is not about pass rushing, we are talking about against the run. Teams were running right at Taylor because he was horrible against the run. If DJ started I would guarantee he would of gotten more than 5 sacks. Taylor was a good pass rusher his first two years, but there were plenty of questions was he going to be able to be a true full time starter. But Jimmy Johnson did not care, he was going to play his young players regardless and let them learn on the job.
