Trade JT to MINNY for 2nd and 4th

We should trade JT to the Vikiings for their #47 and #113. We could then take Long #1 if we dont trade it to ATL or Dal. Then we could get Cherilus #32 or NIcks and then we take the best QB in the draft at #47 with Joe Flacco. And no that is not IMO but a fact. You chould have seen his games or at the combine. He is going to be a great QB. We should have brought in a more veteran QB and traded Beck for a 2nd round and maybe 6th round also. The veteran would have groomed Flacco into an elite QB. The only thing wrong with Flacco is his shakiness in the pocket but that can be taken care of. He will be an elite Qb if he gets the chance and someone doesnt send him to the bench cause they already have a starter. Then at 113 we could pick up Campbell from MIA or Wheeler , Bell .

If you could trade John Beck to anyone for a 2nd and a 6th, then you should be managing this team. Nobody would do that. The guy is unproven, and has not won any games he started.

That being said I am glad he is on our team, and IMO he will have a good season. I believe in him, he seems like a smart kid. If we draft a QB at all I think it will be later, like 4th or 5th. Maybe Colt from HI or Dennis Dixon from OR.

I`ve already said trade JT to Minny..they need a DE now and have a decent chance of contending next year...with that said..Flacco is NOT the best QB out there...Brohm is the better of the 2...that is a FACT...3 number 2`s and we will be in hog heaven...or should I say, FINHEAVEN...

Fact huh...

I'm very skeptical about Flacco. His throwing motion just scares me. He releases the so ball so low it's crazy. If he wasn't as tall as he is, his passes would get batted down at the line constantly. I'm just not sure where all his hype is coming from nor am I ready to buy into it.

I have to say though that I agree with trading JT. The guy is great but he's aging and we need picks.
 
They just discussed this on NFL Sirius radio. Basically their thought on it was if you were the Vikings it would be a great fit for JT (probably most logical place for him) but they said making a deal happen is a whole other story.

They concluded Miami would be willing to trade him should they get a Second. But they said a Second plus another pick would be too much for the vikings.

To rephrase your trade proposal idea, I think if we could get a second for JT and only a second, then woudl you do it?

I think I would. Just given our current circumstance. But if a trade can't be worked out I'd be very happy JT is staying in Miami. A second would be great value for a rebuilding team.

Why is everyone settling for a 2 rounder and 4th? JT is a Franchise Player with 3-5 good years left. A mid first is market value. He'll get traded close to draft time.
 
I think there're some teams that'd give up a 2nd for JT, now the question is,what else are they willing to give us? I'd trade him for a 2 and a 4 but we might only get a 2 and a 5 or a 3 and a 4....is up to Bill and Jeff.

joe flacco will not be there at #47, sorry. We will be lucky if he is still there at #32. nicks, no the other hand, "will" still be there at #47, so just switch them if anything.
