I dont.....and I'm not stupid.....I dont think defending Madison out of atleast what he has done for us over the yrs,isnt stupid.

madison is the only really good cb we have left so i say no to trading madison he is here to stay.
 
It would be great to get Rivers, but we will have to give up picks (including a number 1) to get him.

Oh please. It is the Pre-season, not only that but Madison has taken pay cuts on numerous occasions. He was even promised last year that If he took a pay cut It would make sure that Surtain would stay in Miami and that did not happen. Madison is still a Top 5-10 CB in this league. As much as he gets "beat" If we had anyone else starting at that CB spot, they would get "beat" even more. Watch how Reggie Howard, Travis Daniles or anyone else do this year.

How right you are. It amazes me how the opinion on a player can turn on just one play or one performance.
After the HOF game there were exhaustive posts about how pathetic Feeley was because he couldn't avoid a sack by Urlacher.
In an earlier thread someone is clamoring for the trade of Chambers because he dropped one long pass in the last game.

Man you scared me when I first read your post,I was like what's he smokin??lol.(then I read on)Madison is going to finish his career as a fin,bottom line we will never get a solid trade for him,and he's really too valuable to let go the way we did Surtain(remember we only got a 2nd rnd. pick for him,and you people think we'll get a qb for Madison?):goof:
