Trade option floating around Philly

Hey I have been viewing this site for about a month now. First time writing on here as I just signed up. A friend from Philly is dating one of the Eagles (name not of a concern) and something she mentioned to me of a trade rumour sounds plausible. Philly wants Miami's second pick in the draft to get one of the top two receivers. For what I understand their first round pick, our second round pick back, a first and a late rounder next year and Freddy Mitchell. It can work out to be a good trade.

1) We dont have to pay the huge bonus money for a high draft pick.
2) We pick up a servicable third receiver, who in another system may flourish.
3) We get an extra pick this year and two more next year.
4) If we trade Surtain for a second then we can get a safety, running back, centre/guard and a much needed interior defensive lineman in the first day of the draft.

that would be alright with me, as long as we really get all those picks.
 
lol..... are you kidding... they are going to the nfc champ game next year.

theyd have to give up their whole draft this year, and their first day next.
 
Saban wants picks now...it would have to be Mitchell, thier first and more than likely the second we gave them AND thier 1st and a late rounder this year....they are 31 in the draft....thats a FAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR way to trade down..so they would have to think big when they trade with Saban..because he's not like Wanny...he's no fool...o and by the way :welcome:
 
Not nearly enough. Id say Mitchell has the value of a 6-7th rounder.
 
Hey in every rumour their is some truth. We are all assuming things on this site, because none of us actually make any decisions. However, it did come from a sort of insider and that is why I took some credibility to it.

Dont worry about anyone knocking you. This is a message board, not an official site. Hence this site is for posting oppions and rumors such as this. I appreciate the knowledge.

Personally i dont believe this will go down or a player would kno such specifics for tht matter, but thx still.
 
Thanks for the info. I dont see why it isn't possible.....we would get a lot of picks in that trade. However, the only question I have is how much information would the eagles player she dates have? Im not sure the players are let in on everything and probably just herar rumors the same as we do. Either way, nice info to have, i'm just taking it with a grain of salt like many of the others.

WTF dude! Look at his profile, he joined today! Half if not all the trade rumors are BS, just posted to start a frenzy. I'm not buying it one bit!

Thats the same trade except we get a late rounder this year. :confused: Not much of a difference. They can keep Freddie Mitchell because he SUCKS.
Saban wont let him talk to the media and thats the only thing he is good at. :shakeno: Nobody will be willing to give up what it will take to move up 28 spots. :D
 
Freddie Michell its one of the last players in the NFL that I would want he sucks and has an attitude.
 
I didnt start the thread to start a frenzy. I decided to make the post because like many others it sounded sort of credible but like most you cant take them with a grain of sand. However, a first this year and next, as well as our second back which is almost like a first and a later round pick next year doesnt sound too bad to me.
