Ok first i would like to keep ricky because you need 2 good backs and injuries happen, but it looks like saban wants to trade him for the right price so what are the trade options with denver? what about we give them our 1st #16 and ricky for there 2 #1's and mike anderson, then we could draft tye hill and max jean-gilles ???? good or bad deal? what are some other options?

I don't think they're giving away both 1st rounders. Would be sweet but not going to happen.

to complex and favoring us to much, i think its much simpler, Saban wants a first for ricky, plain and simple

If saban is trading ricky for a first... ricky isn't going anywhere. No1 will give a first for ricky at this stage of his carrerr. NO1! Realistically we would be lucky to get a 3rd for ricky. If we make a trade with denver i would say we would be lucky to get a 4th. IMO denver isnt going to give away much for a rb when they develope backs in there system that run for 1,000 with no problem. It seems like they dont value runningbacks the way other teams do, look at the trade with clinton portis... portis was on top of his game and they traded him away without even thinking twice.

A first for Ricky would be nice if we have to lose Ricky. I really believe Ricky would love playing in Denver with their line and the fact they are already a playoff team. If there is a chance to get a 1st for Ricky, Denver is probably the only chance since it would be a good fit for both of them. Also Shanahan like Saban would probably be a good coach for Ricky to play for.

or if Ricky is worth as many points as a first-rounder, then Saban may try to use him to trade up in the draft

I think Booker and Ricky for their 21st pick (redskins) would be fair. It gives them the recievers they need to replace smith and a top running back. Add on the condition that if ricky quits or gets suspended fordrugs we give up our next years 2nd to them. it seems fair to me,

The Denver trade will be a draft day decision and it will be contingent among a lot of factors so all this speculation is just a waste of time...

I read somewhere that Denver didn't want to give a 1st day pick for him. In other words they are ignorantly thinking the Phins are desperate to unload him.

That's a terrible trade. Sorry, what RW does in the future is Denver's problem if they trade for him. I didn't see the Saints offering us that conditional 1st rd pick back after RW quit last year.

I don't think Denver is going to trade either one of their first round picks....most of the papers here in Colorado said they are just going to focus on acquiring TO. Shanahan has made some questionable draft picks over the years, like Maurice Clarett and I think he has learned from this. I can't seem him going after Ricky with the RB's they have, but you never know?
