i think they should trade Ronnie and draft McFadden.......package Ronnie and JT to get a big name WR or QB!!!!
 
No way we'd get what he's worth coming off an injury. Plus, McFadden hasn't yet proven he can play in the NFL. (Don't throw AP out there, that is a MAJOR exception to the rule). Ronnie would have been looking at the Pro Bowl had he been able to finish the season like he started it. If Ronnie comes back at 100%, he's arguably the best player on our team, you don't trade that away for a question mark.

Draft McFadden..but dont trade Ronnie..... nice 1-2 punch... and hedges our pick at RB in case Ronnie is not the same... (draft OL with the next picks and rebuild it. Let Beck develop this year and lean on the running game....

McFadden is the man...
 
Learn about how the salary cap works outside of Madden '08, and come back and tell us about your plan to tie up absolutely massive amounts of cap space on a runningback that doesnt fit Henning's offense.

Not to mention a Runningback that runs on a pair of toothpicks and so upright he has KILL me written all over him.

I give him 4 years in the league at the most.
 
:sidelol: I love this place. NO WAY MAN!! Agree with 209mason. Best on our team and 2 or 3 overall in AFC at RB. Guy goes down on an INT tryin to make a play with MOST YARDS FROM SCRIMMAGE OF ANY RB IN THE ENTIRE NFL!! Sorry I started shouting uncontrollably at my computer.
 
McFadden...anyone

IMO...first pick goes to J. Long, our O-line is certainly heading in the right direction, and w.o them any QB and RB is useless.
Food for thought....and I can't believe this isn't being discussed, McFad for the first pick??? Ricky can't garuntee he is off the bong, Ronnie may never be 100%, so that leaves us with what...?
Worse case scenario, pick him then trade him a few minutes later, maybe we can get what we want and more?? Someone might bite.
I have a hard time picking a QB with the first pick, but who knows, maybe we can score in the 2nd???
 
I was on the McFad bandwagon early . . . but we have a star RB, tho injured . . . we can't invest that much on the RB position . . . not to mention, this is a DEEP class at RB . . . maybe if this was a better team . . . but with SOOO many holes on this team, can u honestly justify McFadden over Jake Long? A guy who has the Prototype stud LT build . . . who only was beaten once in college by a guy who will be selected a few picks later (Gholston) . . . I mean Jake Long is easily the SAFEST pick in this draft IMO . . . and he fills a HUGE hole. He is the one pick in which I will say damn they didn't pick who I wanted . . . but damn we needed an elite LT prospect.
 
Not even the second best running back in this draft.
 
no way why not just draft a guy later like Kevin Smith and keep Ronnie, u need two RBs nowadays
 
Just say no to McFadden. Has speed, but way to tall. Reminds me too much of Reggie Bush, only not as good.

PS-Say yes to Ronnie. He's our guy.
