Trade? .... RW surprise?

Hey guys,
They said today that teams cannot make trades until the FA begins i believe but how is this so if the Phins traded for RW on the day of the Superbowl?

Btw. I dont remember anything but were there rumors at the times or was it a big deal? or just something that was out of no where? w/out speculation

I am not sure who told you that we traded for Ricky on the day of the Super Bowl, but they were not telling you the truth. We traded for Ricky in March. As far as I can remember there was a lot of talk that we had interest in trading for Ricky, but our salary cap was an issue.

I belive you are wrong i saw it myself. the super bowl was coming to an end and on the bottom of the screen where usually it shows scores of games and sports it said that miami traded etc etc for RW.

I have never seen a ticker at the bottom of the screen during a SB.

it was after. I believe on ESPN. I remember it clearly cuz I jumped with excitement and told my family loll. thats how I heard about it/in other words saw about it.

I dont remember much about when Ricky was traded but perhaps you are mixing up two memorys. I dont know, but i do it occasionally.

maybe it said Miami is going to trade for RW and the deal wil be done once teh FA period begins. I know for a FACT i read it and aren't mixing up to memories but it probably said theyw ill strike a deal when FA begins.
