Trade Satele

Satele is not a BP or Sparano type O lineman. With the recent additions to the O line...and plenty of depth at C/G position now...with the return of injured players...Fins are actually well balanced on the O line. Not to mention plenty of depth in the draft at C and G.

Fins can get value in trading Satele for a draft pick, or a player and a dp.

Thoughts?

No i would say move him to guard if anything. If we trade Satele that's pretty much admitting we got fleeced in the trade for Wes Welker. Also Satele is a good linemen just not a "dominant" center.

I don't think it is a good idea to trade Satele.. We don't have much depth at the O-Line and Samson has been reliable and durable.. In his two years he never missed a game and imo he is a good C/G and can compete with Grove for the starting job..

If anything, depending on how the draft go, we may see Crowder traded, thus the tradeable contract he just signed.. I think the front 7 of our D is more important right now..

I completely agree, we could parlay the pick into a more compatible OL.

or we could use the pick to move up in a particular round if the opportunity presents itself

what we really need is a guy who can backup at RT and G
