I do wish people on this site didn't get so hyped up about trades. Not to be a jerk but sometimes it seems like many folks get excited about trading a possible 1800 yard rusher for no names and late round draft picks. It's pretty aggravating, I should put my stance on trading Ricky in my sig so I don't have to keep repeating myself.


The short version: It would be ludicrous for the Dolphins FO to trade Ricky Williams for the kind of value he would command rigtht now. A couple of nice runs in a meaningless preseason game does nothing to increase that value.
 
why trade Ricky? Ricky is special. Ronnie Brown no matter how good he becomes will never be as good as Ricky. Esspecialy not in his first year. After all is said and done they will be comparing Ricky to Barry(yeah I said it). So as long as Ricky wants to play I say use him. I mean what did he do* get busted and went to rehab. Rehab for Ricky is living in a tent in India and learning holistic medicine.

Probably nothing right now. If he has a good year we might be able to trade something for it but it won't be what he's worth because teams won't want to take a chance on him.
