I have nothing to back this up, but this trade makes me believe Manning will be signed and a possible trade up to get Blackmon. Or a complete rebuild, which I do not see happening with what Ross has been saying since the end of last season.

I don't think we need to trade up for Blackmon when Alshon Jefferies is available also w/o giving up any additional picks to move up

So looking forword to the draft, to make up for this mess we have done in F/A............

Jefferies just seems lazy to me. WRs who can't control their weight scare me. If we're going after a WR I'd just try to trade back to pick up Wright and grab an extra pick later in the draft. If the right players are there at #8 (Richardson for example) we could pick up an extra 2nd rounder, or is that just wishful thinking? Lol

I don't think Blackmon would get past the Rams at #6.....they need some more targets for Bradford. Unless Blackmon or Claiborne dropped down to #8, I would probably trade down and try to get an extra second rounder.

Here we go... Let's trade down and get some more odricks and misi's.. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying their not decent players but if there is a blue chip player sitting at 8 you take him unless you get a ridiculous trade offer

I was thinking about getting into the bottom of round one and getting a stab at Mike Wallace. Who knows?...

Why on earth would we even look forward to the draft? We screw those up more than we manage to screw free agency up. You guys all have great ideas on what to do with our picks.. Wont matter... Ireland will find a way to draft us the next ted ginn mark my words. To look forward to a draft, our team has to give us a reason to believe they will accomplish something with it.. All we accomplish is drafting pat whites and ted ginns year after year.

Thats why I like the idea of Wallace, its hard to mess up when the guy is already a stud at the nfl level.

Id rather not waste the 8th pick for wallace though... IF we could trade down and accumulate a late 1st round pick and a 2nd and 3rd.. Then id love for us to use the late 1st round pick on picking wallace up... However it makes perfect sense, and thus, ireland wont do it.

I like your thinking, but we would have to make that trade now, to be able to make that scenario work. We cant wait too long to sign a restricted free agent, especially if its a draft day trade

just give up on manning, he aint comin here. Flynn is. we are looking at getting scott wells at Center. move pouncey to G. Get Eric Winston and we are set. Drafting a WR or DE at #8
