Being reported that Chicago sends Gordon to the Knicks. Knicks send a lower level guard and a future #1 pick.

Also, on another NBA note; the Suns are going to listen to offers for Shawn Marion. They want to move him for some reason. I am sure a ton of teams will be interested.

Future #1, if thats this years (and not lottery protected) that could be costly.

What the hell do the Bulls want with a future #1 from the Knicks and any guard they have on the roster.. So instead of Gordon you get a another guard that can't play D and another 1 round pick you don't need..

I can see the Suns trying to move Marion, but for what.. They should trade him to Golden State for J. Richardson and Troy Murphy..

Marion fades in the playoffs, he is great during the regular season but for some reason just doesn't do as good in the playoffs

Lets just make sure everyone knows where these completely unsubstantiated rumors come from....the NY Post. Its got to be the worst newspaper out there when it comes to reliability. They just print things to get a rise out of people.

But it is a turning point in the Bulls franchise. They have to decide who they are willing to pay. Hinrich, Gordon, Nocioni, Sweetney, and Deng are nearing the end of their rookie contracts. There is a good chance one of them will get traded.

i would say Deng or Sweetney

Only reason you keep sweetney over deng is because they already lack good bigman.

.

1) That isn't where I got the rumor from!

2) You must READ that newspaper if you got the rumor from there! :sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol:

I wouldnt ever get caught reading the Post. Fortunately other people are kind enough to read the papers for me and post the interesting parts. All this crap originated from Marc Berman interviewing his "sources" within the Knicks org. I dont buy it.....I'd say the over/under is 5 hours before the Bulls front office picks up the story and quashes it.

jermaine said he wants to come back to portland

That would be a very good fit for both player and team in my opinion.

They have nothing to give thats the thing though...I'll believe gordon got traded when I see it just seems purely stupid for the bulls to make the trade

Given how they're running things, I think it's safe to say that a future #1 from the Knicks is at least as valuable as a future #1 from any other team, if not more so. If the Bulls are on a mission to collect every #1 pick the Knicks have for the rest of the decade, well, who can blame them? As long as Isiah is in charge, that looks like a perennial 30-win team.

As for the Knicks, it's obvious that it's become a reality TV show at this point: "how many shoot-first, shoot-second guards can we put together before someone gets beat up over hogging the ball?" Let's see: Marbury, Francis, Nate Robinson, Crawford, Q Richardson and now Gordon? Wow. I assume one of those guys would get moved in a deal for Gordon, but that's a LOT of guys that got stuck with the "does not play well with others" tag in grade school.

I have no idea whatsoever why the Suns would want to move Marion. The only thing that comes to mind is they want to create a permanent spot for Boris Diaw.

would be absolutly dumb on the Bulls part.

I think so also. The Bulls already have the Knicks 1st rd pick this year and I believe next years also. If they can get LaMarcus Aldridge I think they've got a very good young nucleus that will be a legit title contender in a year or two. Let's just say the Knicks are awful again next year that opens up the possibility of Greg Oden.
