Trade Up For Omar Jacobs NOW !!!

We don't have the fire power to get into the 5th round. Why spend multiple picks for a rookie QB, when we can probably have Joey for just one pick?
 
We'd be hard pressed to find anyone to take 7th rounders, they're almost junk, that's why we ended up with 3 of them. But I do agree we need to nab Omar. I was hoping we would in the 4th but I'll follow Saban til the end!:dolphins:
 
i think that the whole deal with harrington is just the lions trying to force us to move quickly but who knows he may be gone i'd rather take my chance with jacobs and have him learn from culpepper
 
Do you really believe Omar jacobs will come in and be ready to start beginning of this year? You've got to be kidding me.
 
i think we should take a risk a get marcus vick with one of our 7th round picks...i think hes a great player but just too many off the field problems but for a 7th round pick which are normaly turned out to be nothing special i think we can find something in marcus if he stays out of trouble

No but who are you gonna get if we don't get Joey? Besides the kid can learn from Daunte for several years, so we're not in the mess we've been in since the Marino days.

Our 3 7th round picks havea draft board value of less than 15 points. Even the top of the 7th round is over 30. So unless we trade future picks, we can't do it.
