Trade up to #4 when Oak takes CJ

Why dont the Dolphins offer Oakland a trade a late round pick for C-pep. If oakland took it then they would take CJ first. Then the Dolphins could offer TB their 1st,2b, and 3rd for TB's 1st(#4 overall), 5th, and 6th. At #4 the Dolphins could take a QB (quinn or russell) or LT(Thomas) and with their 2nd pick (# 40) they could take a LT or QB whichever one they did not choose in round 1. Could this happen ?

It's not far fatched, it has happened in pro sports before.. This season, the New Jersey Devils traded an overpaid stiff of a defenseman to San Jose and gave them a 1st round pick to boot. They had to do that because New Jersey would have been over the salary cap and would have had to start the NHL season forfeiting their games..

San Jose was well below the cap and absorbed the $4 million cap hit and acquired New Jersey's 1st round pick in the June draft .. That defenseman didn't play one game for the San Jose Sharks (because he stunk and was over the hill) .

Not that I am endorsing giving a pick to trade C-pep, just pointing out that there is a precedence for this type of transaction to happen.
