If the draft goes like this:
1- Oakland: C. Johnson 2- Detroit: Adams 3-Cleveland: Quinn.

The Dolphins should trade up with Tampa Bay and get Thomas.
The Bucs seem to want to move down and address their aging defense so this would be a logical move.

Thomas is very good but I don't think he is worth trading up for. I would trade up for Johnson considering he is quite possibly the best wide receiver prospect in the past decade. And I would trade up for Quinn if he falls out of the top 3 to finally acquire a potential franchise QB. Thomas will likely be a good pro, but everyone thought the same thing about Robert Gallery.

These other teams no we're desperate. They'll gut our draft picks like vultures. You never deal from a position of desperation. If Quinn is there @ 9 fine, we take him. If not that's the way it goes, deal with it!

Thanks for your insight Mr. Mueller.

Robert Gallery has a lot to show yet.
Thomas is the best O-lineman in this draft and there is few things to say against him.
His value in our draft board is because our o-line is somehow near an efficient level. With this addition, both running and passing may become lethal, with blocking and protection.

Yea but I wouldn't trade a second round pick and the 9 to move up and draft Thomas . . . nahhhh, I like him . . . but unless its CAlvin Johnson (not gonna happen) or Quinn (still don't think he gets past Cleveland). . . we are staying pat @ 9.

The Dolphins have so many holes to fill, I don't believe they can afford to trade up. If they do any trading, it should be trading DOWN.
