I say we try to trade Wallace to Oakland and swap draft picks. Also if need be offer to pay half his salary this year to draft Kevin White.

I also want to go on record to say I would rather we get Parker or Beckham before Cooper.
 
People need to realize that no one wants Wallace with that contract and he won't restructure. Free agency is too deep as is the draft and let's be honest. Wallace is not a 10 million receiver.

This.. Unless it's for a late round pick Ave Wallace is willing to restructure with the new team he will either be kept or released. It is very unrealistic to think he will be traded

I may be wrong but I don't think the NFL allows teams to pay part of another team's player salary, like they do in baseball.
 
Trading Wallace at this point would be ****ing moronic

As far as I know the trading team is responsible for any difference between what the player gets with a new team versus what the contract with the old team was.. So if Wallace makes 12m this year and Oakland paid Wallace 6m/year Miami would have to pay him 6m.... I think
 
Draft Davante Parker or Kevin White or whomever the best WR is at 14.

Davante Parker is injury prone and Kevin White will be long gone. To get any of the "big 3" receivers, Miami's going to have to trade up.

I can tell you this: If I'm Miami sitting there at pick No. 14, if any of those three receivers are gone, or if any blue-chip player doesn't fall, I'm doing all in my power to trade down and get an extra pick or two.

It's a pretty deep class at receiver, but there's a big drop off after the top three receivers.
 
a trade with Oakland I highly doubt will ever happen (a trade with any team) due to Wallace having an insane contract and amount that the team would have to take in.... if anything all the other teams would need to do is wait for Wallace to be released by Miami, and they can sign him up cheaper with a better contract out of FA. a trade doesnt make sense.

(i also dont comprehend swap picks... like all of them? first round??? first round would be so dumb from Oakland too)

plus it will never happen with Oakland because Al Davis has passed... he loves the need for speed
 
Well since the days of Ireland have passed us by, I guess I'm hoping the days of buy high, and sell low were gone as well. Hence why I suggested we pay part of his contract as part of the trade.
