We all know Detroit needs all the help they can get, from WR to Oline to ... Basically everything.
How about this idea (though may be a pipe dream, but here me out). Trade our #25 pick and #7 (#196) for their #33 pick (2nd Round) and their 1st Pick 3rd Round and a #2 for next year.
They can use the #25 to pick a WR to sid with Megatron, like a Hicks or Harvin who wont be there at number #33 (They addressed QB and OL/DL with their other 2 picks) and somewhat get back the pick they gave up to Dallas in the 7th rd only three picks later.
We could then (if this is our directive... CB) to draft at #33 Sean Smith CB, then Kenny Britt WR or DE/MBL M. Johnson at #44 and Coye Francis CB at #56.
And ... we get the 1st pick in the third round ( where we possibly can trade down again for more picks ... like last year) ... Detroit will still have a third from Dallas.... We will also get their number #2 for next year which is almost guaranteed to be in the top 10 (if that is to much get a third instead ... even though i think we can still get 2nd).
We all dont know how next year draft and collective bargaining agreement is going to effect teams so if i were them, let me get all my talent this year and let next year worry about itself.
They will get three immediate starters and we still get who we want without the price and future picks to help further develop this team
Opinions ... please ... also if they wont do it, then who would be interested
