Alot of people are upset that we gave up a draft pick for a probowl QB, so Im just curious to see what would be ok to trade away a draft pick for...

So give me 5 current NFL players that you would be willing to trade our 1st round pick for...

Marvin Harrison

Alot of people also realize that it would have taken that 2nd round pick and MORE to jump up and grab one of those rookie QB in the drafts.

So not only would have we lost our 2nd but we would have lost our 1st plus more on just a rookie QB. Instead we got Daunte for a 2nd and we got to keep our 1st for defense.

very pointless thread. its kind of a given dude. pick the top 5 great players in teh game right now simple as that.
 
I wouldn't trade away our 1st round pick....unless we trade down and can get a late 1st and a 2nd. Most of the people you have listed to trade a 1st for, the other team will never give that person up in a million years.
 
Peyton Manning (DC trade not withstanding), Donovon McNabb, Randy Moss, Johnathan Ogden, Troy Paulamalu (sp?).

However, a SECOND for a FRANCHISE QB? It never happens.... NEVER. We flat ROBBED the Vikes. To complain about it is like saying the seats in your Ferrari Enzo are uncomfortable. You wouldnt trade a Matt Roth for Culpepper?
 
I like the thread, even though it is pointless, better than another thread saying we should have gotten Brees.

First, DC for a #2 is a steal. As for 5 guys I would trade our #1 for

Tom Brady
Julius Peppers
Champ Bailey
Peyton Manning
Ed Reed

Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Walter Jones, Champ Bailey, Roy Williams (the safety not the WR).

Unlike a lot of people on this board who think by Miami keeping their draft picks it's gonna personally make them millionaires or something I think there are A LOT of players who are worthy of trading a 1st rounder for......

I'll just list 5, and since we now already have a QB my 5 would be......
Walter Jones, Champ Bailey, Palamalu, Peppers, Chad Johnson

:dolphins: No way... Bush yes... thats a given. We have Culpepper now... why would you want Peyton who cant win the big game... A first for a saftey? nope. Marvin Harrison is old. Walter Jones... Come on man. Draft picks are very valuable. :dolphins:
