Is there a player still on the board worth doing this for?

BTW...I cannot believe that what alot of people believe to be the best Defensive player in the draft is still there.....

DJ anyone?

I personally think (as stated in another thread) think we should do this for Rodgers. Next year we are going to be to good to get a 1 round pick in the top 15.

see, the question is do we need Rodgers? the answer is yes. I think we trade our #3 and #1 to jump back up to the first....bu it would end up being our #2. I want Rodgers though, hes the #1 QB on my board anyway.

Rodgers is not worth us doing this for. I say we stay with the 2nd and take a qb there if one is there. other wise build the Defense of the future with what we have left.

Heck no.. Rodgers is DEFINATELY not worth trading next years number 1 for..

I don't think we will be doing this now that Saban is here.

I just don't know. I think after Smith, Rodgers is only QB close. There is a far drop off to the next set and QB is a position we shouldn't go cheap on (see A.J.)

Hell no.

Chances are we go about 6-10, 7-9 which puts us close to getting one of the 4 premier OT's in next years draft. If were going to trade up it's next year for a LT.

It's tempting, but I think I hold up until #46 and hope that Campbell or McPherson is still there. Then like somebody said, take an LT next year at #1.

Rick Spielman must have put out a draft theory book that posters here made the mistake of reading. Let's flush that type of thinking guys. If anything we should try to trade our #2 for a #1 next year.

there is a bunch of talent on the D side, but i don't see saban trading next years first rounder. Maybe our second and third to get somebody late in the first, but i doubt it because saban want as many picks a possible.

trade up 4 aaron roger not a chance

maybe he would go to green bay then brett can finally retire

I think they will go with DJ. They are in win now mode.

I agree.

But seriously why not trade up for Rodgers if he drops a couple more picks. I am sure alot of teams would want our first next year because of how weak this draft is supposedly. Also they will think we will have a high round pick next year. Rodgers was rated as equal to or slightly better than Smith after their workouts. Some scouts still have him rated higher. You cant argue with the value of picking him.
