1) Miami overpaid for a QB, because of Potential: QB's are the most highly coveted position in football, finding the diamond in the rough for a 2nd round pick is not that bad, unless he becomes your 2nd stringer.
2) THe Vikings didn't release the best WR in the NFL (shows what little you know) they traded him to get rid of a huge head case and got a quality LB and a stud rookie WR.
3) Same goes for Reid, the Eagles were good before T.O., he's an arse, and isn't worth the headache and disruption to the team.
4) the 49ers overpaid for Alex Smith, but rookie contracts go up every year, it's called a business. If a QB was drafted #1 every year, then the contract would be record breaking every year.
