Trading WR Talk?

And for that you have to donate. It's pretty simple. FinzManiac is way out of line here.

For one of the 1st times ever....I completely agree w/you :D . (and the idea of donating for access to additional forum(s)

No, you determine your financial budget. And you have determined that donating to FinHeaven is not worth the relatively small amount. Yet, you disrespect people who have fewer funds than you, yet have decided that they care about the site enough to donate to it.

CK...if I am disrespecting people in your opinion that's fine...you are entitled to believe whatever you want to believe. This is not about me or my finances...and I feel little need to explain any further why I have not given $24 to finheaven.

the whole point of this is to point out the arrogance stemming from being a "VIP" member. Enjoy your benefits from the money you spent and quit knocking the rest of us.

Anyway...I need to get back to work here...they have to pay me to do something I suppose...

I think the Phins should offer the Eagle David Boston in trade. Not sure whether they should try and procure a DB, or if they should go for the draft pick...but either way they raped us for Feeley, so we'll rape them for Boston.

I'd shoot for a 2nd rounder. The only real issue is will Reid take on another headcase? Answer is probably not even if it costs him another SB appearance.

Lemme edit this before the VIP jokers come out. I would shoot for, not expecting to get that, just try and get as high a pick as possible.

Trading from a position of strength to an upgrade a weakness on the team would be great, but trades don't often happen in the NFL, especially player for player deals. If the team wants to upgrade the secondary, the name Ray Mickens comes to mind who was recently released, and would help the team out.

This statement is shear ignorance as well. The fact that I am 15 has no bearing on my football knowledge. Bigger things have happened than this... why is it so unlikely?

which bigger things ?

OK, about the VIP issue, some people really need to scroll aaallllll the way up, read the thread before you start deciding what was said and what was not. When DolphinDevil28 said this thread exemplifies the reason the VIP thread was created, he wasn't making fun of people who just pop their ideas out to everyone. This thread really DOES exemplify the chaos of the main forum that people who donate seek refuge from in the VIP room. FinManiac turned that into us all hanging out in the cigar room making fun of the povs and making dirty jokes with each other at the expense of "the others out there" or something.

That's unnecessary. It's also disrespectful to accuse someone of being high and mighty and making fun of people when they are doing no such thing. What exactly was this thread? Someone came up with an outlandish trade idea and created a thread about it, even though there were about two other WR trade threads on the main board, and immediately the guy got bashed and everyone started making fun of him and then there's all this chaos in the thread and not a whole lot of real genuine discussion. THAT exemplifies the reason the VIP room was created, the chaos, not because the rich folk want a place to hob-nob with each other and pretend that everyone in the main forum is stupid.

Anyway, it might be a little unrealistic to get a 2nd or 3rd for David Boston considering a short few months ago he was a free agent on the market and not a whole lot of teams were even offering the veteran minimum. Also, I believe there's a rule about contracts not being renegotiated within a year...so basically anyone trades for Boston does so with the understanding that he definitely becomes a UFA next offseason. SO, anyone that wants to buy him, buys him for a year. But I still think the Eagles fit that bill, want someone for a year. Maybe we could pry a DB from them for that or maybe a 4th. It would be worth it.

trade

One of the reasons I hardly ever post and sometimes don't even read the posts is because people don't ever want to discuss with any courtesy or even intelligence. It comes out if you don't agree with my opinion must be a expleted instead of comeing back with a counter argument. It always breaks down to personal attacks. If a person puts out a comment that may sound stupid it is just an idea. Why does everybody got to slam them personally. Counter thier comments with sound facts. Cutting down people does not raise yourself. Just makes you look weak. I have been a Dolphin Fan since they were founded. Had season ticket in 66.(paid for by my paper route money think it was 140.00 for the 7 games) Saw Joe Auer run back the opening kick off against the Raiders. I have not lived in Fla for over 25 years but have followed them faithfully. If you are a true fan defend or attack with facts not personal attacks.

To the original topic, your right Booker and a 4th would never cut it. I knew that fine and dandy. Thought about Chambers and a 4th, but I'd rather offer Booker, and have them urn up the draft pick. Something that seems realistic is Booker and a 2nd (conditional 1st, based on Hall's health). People can flame this idea all they like, but lets face it, it is possible. Crazier things have happened.

Personally I'd take Hall over Dunta solely based on natural ability. As one fellow previously mention the cap hit is the biggest problem. Nothing some contract negotiations couldn't fix. But would Atlanta go through that much trouble? I think it is possible. They need someone to compliment Vick. Booker could be that someone.

Anyway on to the other topics. I'd much rather keep Boston. He is younger, more athletic, and will be afreak soon again. Boston has a ton of upside, and little downside. Not to mention Boston probably has alot less trade value based on his history (similar to Ricky and Gordon, one is better, but less stable... hurts value).

And finally to the VIP B.S. that is exactly what it is. Everyone got offended because a none VIP member defended us other non-VIP members. Guess what he had every right to say what he did. Some VIP member came in here acting all high and mighty because he dishes out a few dollars the rest of us choose not to do, or just can't. That's right some of us have families to support, big changes in life, or simply do not have the income to provide that kind of money on the side. For some people that 24$ is bread and milk money every month.

I'll tell you what, when I get working again I'll be glad to dish out my 24$ a month. I love this site, why not support it if I can? But I sure as hell don't want to be a member of the "all exclusive special VIP boys club" if that is how the members choose to act. You are no better than the rest of the loyal FinHeaven posters.

That is my opinion on all that, take it for whatever you think it is worth.

OriginalFinFan said it best. I knew damn well when I posted this that it wasn't a realistic situation. But I was in the mood for some common discussion. Instead I got insulted based on my age, and "lack of knowledge", oh and my inability to donate 24$ a month right now. Thanks guys, sometimes I can't remember if this is a Fins fansite, or a Jets fansite.

raiders to may end up???? oh no moss and to on the same team wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to see that. Eagles lose that gamebreaker WR they tried to hard to get. Then all of a sudden McNabb is good and not great again. Kerry Collins puts up great numbers, but his team is a wreck because the team goes pass, pass, pass, punt. Then T.O. and Moss both holdout, only to move on to other teams to terrorize. All the meanwhile Saban is building the all-mighty Dolphins!
