He’ll be expensive but 27 year old guard with 5 straight pro bowls in free agency sounds lovely.

If we can out from underneath Flowers contract, then I absolutely would be on board to give him a look. Not that Flowers isn't solid but not worth what he got from us.

I'm fairly certain we're good at OG.

Would rather spend the $ elsewhere IMO.

I disagree. I think oline and depth should be priority. Specially if the contract is team friendly. It all depends on the value of the contract. I would rather have other oline help if the contract is better and the player is worth it.

Shaq Barrett, who isn't oline, for the same price would be better. It all depends on value but we should be looking at everyone with talent.

I mentioned Turner the other day... but there are two ifs. Can we trade Flowers so we don't have to eat that contract, and are we convinced that Hunt is a Tackle? Because both of these things would have to happen to bring in Turner. He's a pro-bowl quality starting Guard (only)... he isn't depth.

Turner is probably getting a 1 year prove it deal this off-season... he’s been pretty bad the last two years

Unless we're talking about a swap with Flowers or someone that gives us some depth, I'm content with what we have at oline. Let the youngsters show us what they've got this year.

Sooooooo...we are only giving QBs the pandemic season excuse as to why they don't have to compete for a job?

Everybody else had to have hit the ground running in order to keep their starting position...am I reading into this too much?

Miami is not signing Turner to any “team friendly” deal with his age and pedigree. Miami cannot pay in free agency at Guard with Flowers and his $10 million unmovable until next year.

The problem is our OL is full of guards, so if you sign another one you still have holes in it.

The FO needs to have a clear plan with how money is to be allocated by position in their scheme within the salary cap. They can't just throw money at holes like they did in past years. It doesn't work.

In FA I'd prefer to use the money on Lindsey, the Pro Bowl Center from Green Bay. Corey Linsley would really help cement this o-line and would be a fairly large upgrade from Karras who just isn't on Linsley's level. This move helps the entire offense function better and with Linsley making the line calls maybe we could stop falling for every basic stunt that teams throw at us. With the interior line looking like Flowers, Linsley and Kindley that's a whole lot of power and strength. That's time to throw the ball and push in the run game so we get a lot of value from one player. He's 29 years old so he's not a greybeard just yet.
