IMO
The biggest battle will be the whole secondary...

No one really has a job secure....

The next biggest battle will be at WR .....

Chambers and Booker are the only sure thing while the battle to be 3rd,4th and 5th WR will be very interesting.

Walker
Campbell
Hagan
Vick
The kid from LSU

This year camp should be very intresting ......

Agreed.

WR will be the most competetive.

The 4th/5th slots are the ones I'm most interested in.

I'm almost dead certain of the 1-3.

Kid from LSU? I think you mean Auburn. Aromashudo or however you spell his weird name.

It is Aramashodu and he is from Auburn I believe. We got much depth at several positions this offseason. Nick is a Genious!

I'm hoping Daniels loses the CB spot to Will Poole, that way we could put Daniels at safety and have who I believe are the best four players out on the field. I like the idea of our secondary being:
Will Poole
Will Allen
Jason Allen
Travis Daniels

I think it will end up being Chambers, Booker, and Campbell after training camp mainly because Campbell and Culpepper have played together and are familiar with each others timing and tendancies, but I believe Hagan will take over the #3 WR by midseason. IMO, Hagan was a gem in the third round. After reading up about him, he was one of the most productive WRs to ever come out of the Pac-10 (setting the record for most career receptions and 2nd most in yards), and from what I've read, he has incredible work ethic and will out work anyone on the field.

Quite possibly one of the best WR corps we've had in many years.

Of course, I said this about the addition of DBo too. So, let's see what happens.

Hagan's got me stoked. Quite possibly one of the bigger steals in the draft to develop for the future. It's always good to keep the WR ranks full of promising young talent to develop. Something we've lacked for years.

BTW, it's Welker.

DT will be a GIANT mess
Locks: Vonnie Holliday, Kevin Carter, Jason Taylor, David Bowens, Matt Roth, M. Wright
On the Bubble: Zgonina(age), Traylor (age, law)
In the trenches: Howard Green, Fred Evans, Scott fufita, Kevin Vickerson
Injury list: R. Wright

6 are locked in..We had 9-10 guys on the defensive line last year (josh shaw on and off) that means 6 guys vying for 3-4 spots.

Keep in mind we'll be seeing more 3-4 fronts this year and might need even less DT's.

IMO with a 3-4 front, you would want bigger but still athletic DE's to take up more space on the front line. Kevin Carter used to play DE in Tennessee and I could see him splitting out there in 3-4 situations. I think Holliday and Bowens might be athletic enough to do so as well.

Negative most likely be Kelly at 3.

I dunno. I think Hagan looks like a better target in at the #3 WR spot. With his size and speed that would help Daunte out. It's tougher for a Nickelback to cover someone with his size. Campbell will out-match a Dime back.
